00:00Coming into this fight, you guys, you know,

00:05were doing value that first round.

00:07He was throwing out that jab a lot early going,

00:08trying to keep you at bay, trying to keep you,

00:10you know, at distance, but you got in there,

00:12got a couple shots here and there throughout that round

00:15and really towards the end,

00:16started to seem like you found your distance,

00:18found your timing and opened up on him a little bit.

00:20How did you feel as that first round

00:22was going on through that fight?

00:26Most definitely, I felt great going in that fight.

00:29I did want to fill out the process a little more.

00:32I knew I could have got him out in the first round

00:33if I really wanted to, but I kind of wanted to push it.

00:36I kind of wanted to give the fans a better show,

00:38especially since it was in my hometown.

00:40I kind of wanted to push it to the second and third round.

00:44But unfortunately, one of the times in the clinch,

00:46I believe I hit him in the stomach

00:48and he just made the weirdest noise ever.

00:50And I want to say that I had to pay,

00:52to play a big part of him throwing up in that corner.

00:58Yeah, that's for the people who haven't seen it yet.

01:00You go back and watch it.

01:01Obviously, he's got some great punches,

01:03especially at the end of that first round,

01:04he had a big flurry.

01:05And then all of a sudden,

01:06we're watching you guys in the corner,

01:07getting ready for a second round.

01:09And then they get to the,

01:11they're watching you first

01:12and then they go over to his corner

01:13and you kind of see the bucket up.

01:15And many people might be familiar with,

01:18obviously there's a lot of times

01:19where there'll be water in the bucket,

01:20they might put water on you, cool you down,

01:21something like that, wipe off the blood.

01:23But the bucket was pretty close to his face.

01:25And then all of a sudden, we hear him puking.

01:29What did you, were you in the other corner?

01:30Did you know what was going on?

01:31Or are you just kind of locked in here

01:33and your trainers and all of a sudden the fake is called

01:35and you have no idea what's going on

01:36until they tell you what happened?

01:40So I rewatched the fight and I saw,

01:43you know how you said they showed me,

01:45I was just telling my coach,

01:46I said, he hit me with his best shot.

01:48I got him, he's nothing on me.

01:50And I said, I'm going to go in for the kill.

01:52And I was excited.

01:53I got up a little bit earlier

01:54than when the bout was intended for me to get up to.

01:57And I just looked up and I saw them wave it off.

01:59And you know, I was upset.

02:01You know, normally you like to be excited

02:03to end fights early,

02:04but I wanted to do more of this fight.

02:06And unfortunately it happened that way,

02:08but you know, there's nothing we could do about it.
