Bhairava Dand — where the front foot lands decides it.
Hindu push-up variation (dand), step by step:
From the hips-high position, step one foot forward to land beside its hand — not far ahead of it — without moving the palms. Lower into the lunge, lift the chest, then step back and change sides.
✅ Works hips, legs, shoulders and core
The same movement goes by more than one name; some teachers call it the Hanuman dand. One common form — details vary between teachers. If it's new to you, learn it with a qualified teacher. Start in a comfortable range; if it hurts, stop. Hip, knee or wrist problems: check with a doctor or physio first.
