You might not think of beauty when you hear QVC, but today Mi-Anne tries out all the top rated makeup products from the shopping channel.

00:00Hey guys, it's me Anne, and this is Beauty With Me.
00:02When you think of QVC, your mind may immediately go to really excitable TV presenters
00:10selling things like Tupperware, and slippers, and socks, and mops.
00:16The shopping network has actually become a really big destination for beauty.
00:22In fact, QVC is kind of credited for launching IT Cosmetics
00:26and making it the phenomenon that it is today.
00:28So I thought it would be fun to reach out to QVC and find out what their best-selling products
00:33are.
00:34I have them all in a bag right here, and I'm going to put them all to the test today.
00:39We'll start with primer.
00:40This is the Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer.
00:43It's supposed to smooth over pores, kind of spackle them over, I guess.
00:48We'll see.
00:48And I'm going to check in with you guys at the end of the day.
00:51I want this full face is on to let you know how all these products wore.
00:54I'm going to put that onto my face where I get the most oily and brush on one side,
00:59and then I'll do fingers on the other side.
01:02So I gotta say, I'm kind of surprised.
01:04I read the word spackle on that bottle and was kind of like,
01:09oh, this is going to be very heavy.
01:11I feel like it's creating a nice even layer for foundation,
01:14but it doesn't feel like it's suffocating my skin.
01:16So let's move right along.
01:17Next, we have the It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Full Coverage CC Cream.
01:21This is a very popular product.
01:23It's quite dewy, and it actually has great coverage,
01:25considering that it is like an alphabet cream.
01:27It also has SPF 50.
01:29I'm wearing the shade Light.
01:31And this is supposed to cover everything color correct,
01:34not crease or crack into fine lines,
01:36and provide some protection and hydration.
01:38It has excellent cover—I mean, look at this.
01:41It has excellent coverage.
01:42Next up on the concealer front, we have the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer,
01:46which comes with a sponge and is supposed to brighten, cover imperfections,
01:51but I do think it actually blends quite nicely out.
01:56This is a very matte concealer.
01:57I can really see it under my eyes,
01:59but I'm just tapping this in with my finger to warm it up.
02:02I do tend to like very emollient concealers,
02:05so I do think that this one is a little bit on the matte side.
02:08So we'll see how this wears under the eyes
02:11and if it starts to look a little chalky.
02:13So to set all my work, I'm going to use this IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pours
02:17Poreless Finish Airbrush Powder.
02:20It's supposed to give an airbrushed effect, absorb oil, and smooth over pores.
02:25It comes with a little puff.
02:27Whoa. Can you see that on camera?
02:29My pores are like gone on this side.
02:32Whoa! Okay.
02:33So I'm going to use a brush on the other side.
02:35It does blur with the brush, but I don't think it blurs as well.
02:39Like I feel like I have to use more product to get the same blurring effect that I did just
02:43using this puff on the other side.
02:45Here we have the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Wear Blush in the shade Exposed.
02:50It's supposed to be very long wearing.
02:51The Amazonian Clay is supposed to actually balance the moisture and oil levels in your skin,
02:55and it's supposed to be fade free.
02:57So that's a tall order for a blush.
02:58I will say you do kind of have to build this color up to get like a very strong flush.
03:03I don't think that I have any immediate opinions on it yet.
03:06We'll see if it actually wears for 12 hours.
03:08Next up we have bronzer, and this is the Laura Geller Baked Bronzed Brighten Powder.
03:13Apparently this is supposed to brighten and bronze the skin.
03:16It's supposed to look very natural on. We will see.
03:19I don't really think it brightened my skin per se, but I don't think it looks ready.
03:24I think it actually blended in really nicely.
03:26Let's move on to highlighter, shall we?
03:28This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in the shade Champagne Pop.
03:32Sweep it onto cheekbones, and it is high impact.
03:36I mean like, I am.
03:38You can really layer it on for like really like megawatt shine,
03:42but what's nice about it is it lasts a really long time,
03:45and it just hits the light in such a gorgeous way.
03:47It's highlighter, and it's a good one.
03:49There's some bad ones. You know.
03:51On the primer front we have the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
03:54It claims to keep your eyeshadow from creasing,
03:57make your eyeshadow look more vibrant,
03:59and give you smoother application.
04:01Boom.
04:03Boom.
04:04Might do some under, lower lash line work.
04:07It's a great primer. It works. I know it works, so.
04:10On to eyeshadow palette, and the best-selling eyeshadow palette
04:13is the Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette.
04:16It has some nice mattes, some nice metallic shimmers.
04:19The Naked palettes are really great for people who really love like neutral, bronzy looks.
04:24I'm gonna go into Limit and put that all into my crease as like kind of a transition shade.
04:29Then I think I'm gonna go into Trick all over the lid.
04:34Getting a little bit of glitter fallout here, but honestly for a shadow that's this shimmery,
04:39I would be surprised if it didn't have any fallout.
04:42I'm going to go into Dust, get it poppin'.
04:46I do think that the shadows themselves, like the matte shade, blended super beautifully.
04:51I think that the shade selection, if you're looking for something neutral, you'll probably love it.
04:56I'm gonna finish this entire right side of my face in terms of eye makeup,
05:00and then move on to the left side.
05:02So I'm going to move on to eyeliner.
05:04We have the Mali Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade Dark Chocolate.
05:08And this liner is supposed to glide on easily and last all day.
05:14So I'm gonna use this, kind of wing it out.
05:16I think that this bronzy, kind of dark chocolatey shade will work well with the kind of bronzy colors that
05:22are already on my lid.
05:24Then I'm gonna go in with this brush and smudge it a little bit, just to make it look a
05:29little more diffused.
05:31Yeah, that eyeliner went on really smoothly.
05:34I think it's set very fast, so I didn't have a ton of time to smudge it.
05:38But I do like the way it looks.
05:39I think it was easy to draw the little wing.
05:41We'll see if it lasts all day though.
05:43Next up we have Waterproof Mascara, and this is the IT Cosmetics Tightline Waterproof Black Mascara Primer.
05:49I actually requested info on their best-selling waterproof mascara.
05:52I always do waterproof, I kind of think of it as hairspray for my eyelashes.
05:56I've never used this before, but apparently it's supposed to be your eyeliner, your mascara, and your primer all in
06:02one.
06:03It's supposed to last for 12 hours.
06:05So that's a lot.
06:07Alright, moment of truth.
06:09I'm taking this teeny tiny brush.
06:11So that's definitely holding a curl, but it is very natural looking.
06:15So this is giving me a lot of great definition.
06:18It's giving me some length.
06:19It is kind of cool because you can really get to the bottom of your eyelashes, really scoop up.
06:25I think this is going to be great for bottom lashes.
06:27On its own, I think that it's not giving me definition and volume as I would want.
06:31So I have the IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara here, which is another popular mascara.
06:37It is not the best-selling waterproof mascara because it's not waterproof.
06:40But let's see if I can get a little bit more volume.
06:44Alright, so that's the mascara.
06:45I think that that primer is great if you want a very natural look.
06:49If you want to wear it on its own, I think that layered with another mascara, it looks good.
06:53I don't think it holds a curl as well as some other mascara formulas do.
06:57I'm going to do the other eye now.
07:00So that is the eyes done.
07:02I'm going to move on to lips now.
07:04The final step.
07:05This is the Givenchy Rouge Entarde Temptation Black Magic Lipstick.
07:10What's cool about it is that it looks like completely black in the tube.
07:14When I put it on, I think it's going to become like a plummy shade.
07:16Alright, so basically the claims are, react to your pH to create your own custom sensual shade.
07:23And it has rose oil in it to hydrate.
07:26It smells really good.
07:30Looks black right now.
07:33I think I had the exact same reaction to this product when I first used it.
07:37Alright, so I'm going to blot it a little bit, get the excess product off,
07:39because I think that's what the issue here is.
07:41Boom.
07:41I mean, look at that.
07:43So much better.
07:43This is a really pretty stain.
07:45I think that I really overdid it on the application.
07:48There was too much product on my lips, therefore not all the product was transforming on my lips.
07:52And now I think it's perfect.
07:54It looks like a perfect little berry stain.
07:56I think it looks really pretty.
07:58No complaints.
07:59So this is the full face of QVC Best Sellers on.

08:10It is 8pm and I've been at the office for quite some time now.
08:14And I want to go home.
08:15It's very dark.
08:16So I figured I would just vlog and end this video right now.
08:19I've been wearing this makeup for 11 hours.
08:21So not quite the 12 hour mark, but pretty close.
08:24And I gotta say it actually is holding up really well.
08:26My skin looks pretty matte still.
08:29The blush and bronzer have faded some.
08:32Highlighter is still there.
08:33Eyes wise, I think the colors from the palette kind of mixed together.
08:37But the overall eye look I still like.
08:40It's a pretty, you know, it's a nice bronzy eye.
08:43Eyeliner hasn't creased at all.
08:44Definitely is long wearing.
08:46Got a little bit of smudging into the eye.
08:48I think that might have been the non waterproof mascara that I applied over top of the waterproof one.
08:52The lipstick is super comfortable.
08:54Definitely something you have to reapply.
08:56I mean, it's essentially a tinted lip balm, but it was very comfortable to wear.
08:59I think overall I'm happy with the look.
