00:00Hey guys, it's Mian and this is Beauty With Me.
00:02I have a different video today.
00:04I'm going to do an empties video where I'm going to show you everything that I've been
00:09collecting for the past six months.
00:12To the average beauty consumer, it might not seem like that much stuff, but trust me when
00:17I say that my job is to test new makeup.
00:20So if I finished it up, it means I really liked it, and I'm going to share it with you
00:24guys.
00:24I actually end up testing a lot more makeup than I do hair and skin, so I don't have a
00:29ton of makeup empties, but I will show you what I do have.
00:31So the first up is this mascara.
00:34It's the Catrice Glamour Doll Waterproof Mascara.
00:37I really like Catrice mascaras, especially the ones that have the silicone brush tips.
00:41It's really easy to get between your eyelashes.
00:43It really volumizes, and it also defines pretty well.
00:47So next up is this one.
00:48This is a mascara from a Korean brand called Etude House, and it's called the Curl Fix Mascara.
00:53It doesn't say it's waterproof, I don't think, but it is.
00:56I'm embarrassed to say I've had this for maybe a year.
00:58So I kind of finally decided to retire it.
01:01It's actually one of my favorite mascaras.
01:03The brush has an interesting comb on one side, it's very, very short bristles, and the other
01:08side they're very long.
01:09I like to use the short side for my bottom eyelashes, and then the long side for my top.
01:14But then for detail shots, I'll twist it over and use the shorter bristles, and it can give
01:19you the prettiest eye-opening effect, holds a curl really well.
01:22This eyeliner from Well People.
01:25This one kind of dried up on me, I think, because I didn't really close it all the way.
01:31The formula is good.
01:32It's not the most water-resistant from Well People, which is a very green brand.
01:36It's not every day you find a pretty decent liquid liner in that kind of arena.
01:39I think that the brush is a little bit on the nubby, thick side.
01:43I think it would be a little bit easier to do precise work if it was slightly thinner.
01:48This is the Jouer Lip Cream in Fraise Bonbon.
01:50This is a liquid lipstick that I've had for a really long time, like maybe two, almost
01:56three years, and it dried out because I didn't screw the cap on.
02:00But it is a beautiful liquid lipstick.
02:02It's really good.
02:02I highly recommend this line from Jouer.
02:05This one actually applies quite thin on the lip, so it doesn't feel crusty or cakey on,
02:10and it has a really great color selection.
02:11So this is my Beauty Blender Bubble, the light pink one that came out.
02:15I mean, I love Beauty Blenders, who doesn't?
02:17But this one actually was really, really soft.
02:20Like, the Beauty Blender is soft, but this one's like softer.
02:22And then I dropped it in the bathroom of a hotel.
02:26I was just like, gross.
02:29I've been using this Dermablend Makeup Dissolver, which really cuts through waterproof makeup like, fast.
02:37I will say it does sting just a little bit, but it works so quickly that I was willing to
02:42overlook that.
02:43This is a lab sample, so it's not the final packaging.
02:45This is the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm,
02:49and this is really good.
02:51It also cuts through waterproof makeup really fast.
02:54This one doesn't sting, but it is in a balm, so it's like less conducive for travel.
02:59So after I cleanse with the oily makeup removers, I always double cleanse with some sort of cleanser,
03:05and I finished, finally, my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser.
03:10It was sitting in my shower, and it's really nasty now.
03:12I did finish all of it.
03:14I really liked it.
03:15It has like a kind of bouncy gel texture that feels really nice on.
03:19It smells like roses because it has rose water in it.
03:21If you guys have been watching the show for a while, you might know that I went to Renee Rouleau,
03:26who's an esthetician,
03:28to get a facial from her in December.
03:30She gave me a bunch of product after the facial, and I've been using it pretty much since then.
03:34And this is one of my favorites.
03:36It's the Pore and Wrinkle Perfecting Serum.
03:38It has a bunch of acids in it, so it's really great at like evening out skin tone.
03:43It helps with acne and like whiteheads and stuff like that.
03:45It doesn't make my skin irritated.
03:47It's very gentle.
03:48The Anti-Cis Treatment.
03:49So this, I love.
03:51This is a serum that specifically targets like cyst-like breakouts, and that's like the types of breakouts that are
03:56like under the skin, they hurt.
03:58I don't know how this thing works, but it does.
04:01It just like cuts down the healing time of my cyst, basically.
04:03So I have one more acne product, and that is the Dr. Pimple Popper Acne Spot Treatment from SLMD.
04:10So that's actually Dr. Pimple Popper's skincare line.
04:13It stands for Sandra Lee MD.
04:15This is her acne spot treatment.
04:16It's 2% salicylic acid, and it comes out in a little rollerball that makes it really easy to just
04:21like kind of slap onto a zit.
04:23I kept this in my bedside table.
04:26Does this happen to you?
04:27Because like, I feel like every time I am like about to get off to sleep, and I touch my
04:30face, and I'm like, I have a pimple!
04:31And you don't want to like get out of bed to like get your pimple cream.
04:35So I just keep this in my bedside table for those moments when I don't want to get up, and
04:40I put it on, and then I go to sleep.
04:42This is the Pharmacy Green Screen SPF 30 sunscreen.
04:46This is probably my favorite facial sunscreen.
04:50It feels like moisturizer. It's super lightweight.
04:53The active ingredients in this are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, so it doesn't have any of the harmful coral
04:59killing ingredients in it that a lot of sunscreens do.
05:03It's not greasy. It layers well under makeup. I love it.
05:07This is the Burt's Bees Mango Moisturizing Lip Balm.
05:12Used it all up, scraped it at the bottom over here.
05:17It smells really good.
05:19I am a Burt's Bees lip balm fan for life.
05:23I love the original lip balm specifically because it goes on matte, and I like that because you can put
05:28it on before lipstick and it won't compromise the finish.
05:30These kind of flavored ones of the Burt's Bees line, they're a little bit on the shiny side, so they're
05:36not as good for that.
05:37But if I were to choose, I would just always go for the original. I love the original.
05:41So the next lip product is the Bite Agave Lip Mask.
05:46Now this is a thick lip mask.
05:50It's a lip mask, but I pretty much just use it as a lip balm.
05:53It's very hydrating. It's very thick, so I only use this at night.
05:57It's great for the winter. I actually use this up, I think, in February, so it did see me through
06:02the entire winter season.
06:03It lasts forever, too.
06:05All right, so on to hair.
06:06I've been using this Orbit Mask for Beautiful Colors pretty much since I got my hair colored in January.
06:13It smells really, really, really good.
06:14It made my hair super soft.
06:16So next up, I have this pomade from Fat Boy.
06:19It's called the Sea Salt Pomade, and I use most of it, and then it kind of dried out toward
06:24the end.
06:24But it's basically a kind of gritty pomade that you would get onto your hand, that would get on my
06:29hands.
06:29And then I would use it through the mid-lengths and ends of my hair to kind of fluff it
06:32out and give it a little bit of piecey texture.
06:34It's really, really nice.
06:36It has a matte finish, so it doesn't look too shiny in the hair.
06:39It smells really good.
06:41And last but not least, potentially the most boring part of the video, deodorant!
06:46I've gone through two deodorants.
06:47The first of which is this one from Ursa Major.
06:50It's called the Hop and Fresh deodorant.
06:53It's 100% natural.
06:54It has no aluminum and that sort of thing.
06:56If you guys watched my deodorant testing video, you know that I don't sweat that much.
07:00I don't smell that much.
07:02So I do find this a regular deodorant and not an antiperspirant.
07:04It's fine just to use every day.
07:06This one's really nice.
07:07It smells kind of eucalyptus-y.
07:09It is a little bit on the drier side.
07:11So when you put it on your armpits, you do kind of have to rub a bit so it like
07:14warms up.
07:14But then it totally applies easily and it's fine.
07:17And the next one is this one from, I think it's spelled AER?
07:21A-E-R.
07:22It's called the Next Level deodorant.
07:24And it's by Vapour, Vapour Organic Beauty.
07:27And it comes up in a little twisty thing like this.
07:32You twist this knob and the little product comes out of here.
07:34This has been my kind of more spring deodorant.
07:37It does control odor pretty well, I would say.
07:40It's also aluminum-free.
07:41It's also pretty natural.
07:42The one thing I don't love about it is the package kind of leaks a bit
07:46because it's kind of more of an oily formula.
07:49And that's it!
07:50Does anyone else feel really accomplished when you finish a product,
07:53when you're like through the last pump of a cleanser or something?
07:56It's like closing a book after you've finished it.
07:59You're ending that chapter of your beauty life.
08:02Am I the only one that feels that way?
08:03Nah.
08:04But yeah, that's it.
08:05I hope you guys enjoyed this.
08:06I hope that it gives you an idea of like what I've been liking.
08:08And I will catch you guys next week.
08:10Bye!
