00:10I reached out to some representatives from Ulta and they shared a list of their top performing products.
00:16I have them all here. I'm going to try them on. I'm going to show you.
00:19So first up is Naturally Foundation.
00:22And I have the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation.
00:26I have the shade Light Sand.
00:28This foundation has 6,000 reviews on Ulta and a rating of 4.5.
00:38I think that if you have very oily skin you would love this foundation.
00:44But I think for my skin it's a little bit too matte.
00:48So I'm going to stop there. I don't want to go too crazy with it.
00:51I'm going to move on to concealer.
00:52I've got some concealer here and NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer is one of the best sellers at Ulta.
00:57No surprise. I have the shade Cafe Con Leche.
01:01And I'm just going to dot this under my eyes and on any dark spots, blemishes.
01:06I think it has a very natural satiny finish that you can definitely build up.
01:12It definitely isn't like super dewy like you might think.
01:15So that's something to keep in mind.
01:16So next up is powder.
01:17And I have this really weird powder.
01:20It's by Becca.
01:20It's called the Hydra Mist Setting Powder.
01:22And it is a loose powder.
01:24It says keep close to keep me cool because it is the weirdest feeling powder.
01:30It feels wet.
01:32So if you have drier skin it's great.
01:34But if you have very oily skin it will, you will get oily.
01:38Because I'm wearing such a matte foundation though that's like so long wearing,
01:42I think that this powder is actually a good thing to layer over top.
01:46Next up we have blush.
01:47This is the shade Impassioned.
01:48So I'm going to go in with this brush on the apples of my cheeks.
01:51I love the NARS matte blushes.
01:54It's just a good one.
01:56Bronzer.
01:56It's Benefit Hoola.
01:58I have this little mini one.
01:59It's so cute.
02:00It's great for travel.
02:01It's just a great matte bronzer that you can kind of use for bronzing and contouring.
02:05Nice and versatile.
02:06Base is on.
02:07So I'm going to move on to highlighter.
02:09And I have a Colourpop product.
02:11So this is Colourpop Wisp.
02:12This is a Super Shock highlighter.
02:13It has the coolest like bouncy texture.
02:17I find best applied with fingers.
02:19Wisp is a very cool, interesting color because it's kind of champagne.
02:23It's kind of taupe.
02:24I think that it would look good on a lot of different skin tones.
02:27I always, always, always prime my eyes because they're so greasy.
02:31And I've got the Urban Decay Primer Potion right here.
02:34I'm just going to slap this onto my eyelids and move on.
02:40This is the Jaclyn Hill Morphe palette.
02:43It has a ton of different shades.
02:47Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
02:50So I'm going to go into this shade.
02:51It's like a matte burgundy.
02:53We're going to go for like a graphic wing situation.
02:58We'll see how it goes.
02:59I'm going in with this matte shadow and I'm going to create the shape of my wing first.
03:02So I'm going to start on the outer corner.
03:05Ooh, pigmented.
03:12Because I went in wet, shadow's getting a little patchy.
03:16Okay, I'll tell you what I should have done.
03:18I should have gone in wet to make the shape and then I should have, when I was filling it
03:21in, gone and dry.
03:23Going back to the palette.
03:25So I'm going to do this in the outer corner, this in the center, and I think a little bit
03:28of this in the inner corner.
03:30So I'm going to start with this one.
03:33You usually do light, light to dark.
03:35I think I'm going to do dark to light.
03:38Alright, that one was really pigmented.
03:40Let's see what that one's called.
03:41It's called Cran Apple.
03:43So I'm going to go in with this one.
03:48Ooh, ooh, ooh.
03:51Let's try this little fella right here.
03:56I really like this copper one.
04:00So I think this is as good as it's going to get.
04:03The shadows are very pigmented.
04:04They are very creamy.
04:05I think they apply really well with fingers.
04:08I think they apply nicely wet.
04:09I need to work with this palette more.
04:11I think that I need to practice this kind of look because I've never done it before.
04:15But I'm not going to bore you with the minutia.
04:17And I'm going to...
04:19Left eye?
04:20It's on.
04:20And gotta say it went much better.
04:23I think the ombres were a little bit more apparent.
04:25The eyeshadows were much more easy to work with.
04:27I think that, you know, for the first attempt on ombre wing, it's not too bad.
04:32So I'm going in with a little bit of eyeliner.

04:35I'm thinking about a tight line only because the eye look is kind of a lot.
04:38So I have the Ulta Gel Eyeliner in the shade Blackout.
04:42This product has 2,910 reviews and like 4.5 stars.
04:47People really like this stuff.
04:48When I tight line like straight on the waterline of my eye up on the top, it never stays.
04:55So what I do instead is I go underneath and I tight line under my eye but kind of more
05:00into the lash line.
05:02That way I'm kind of intensifying my upper lash line without going directly onto the waterline where it's just going
05:07to slide right off.
05:09Very creamy.
05:09Nice.
05:10We'll see how it holds up for the rest of the day.
05:14Mascara time.
05:15And I have the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise in Waterproof.
05:19So it has a really nice, big, chunky wand.
05:22I think it's good for volume.
05:23It has like hair like bristles rather than like the silicone ones.
05:27Curling my eyelashes with my Tweezerman eyelash curler.
05:30So that is the eyelash situation done.
05:33A few of the best selling lipsticks are these from Lipstick Queen.
05:36I have the shades The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth.
05:41So this is the first one.
05:41It's called Nothing But The Truth.
05:44This one is The Truth.
05:46Ooh, much more like on the bubble gummy side.
05:49And this one's called The Whole Truth.
05:51Super similar.
05:53Hopefully The Truth will be the true for me.

06:01This kind of color would look fine if I didn't have such a warm eye.
06:06But you know what?
06:06I'm very impressed with the actual formula of the lipstick.
06:08So maybe go to the store and swatch it before you buy.

06:29Hey, guys. So I am back home and it is 8.30.
06:33I've been wearing this makeup for eight and a half hours.
06:35And the sun's about to set.
06:37So I thought I would just finish off the episode now while I still have light.
06:39And you guys can still see the makeup on my face.
06:41The foundation, like I said, was pretty matte when I first put it on.
06:45But now my natural oils have kind of seeped through it.
06:48And it looks really natural and kind of nice and like dewy in some areas.
06:51I'm pretty oily because it's been very humid outside.
06:53Highlighter's still popping.
06:55The concealer looks great still under my eyes.
06:57I have a little bit of wear underneath my nose because I was blowing my nose earlier
07:01because I had curry for dinner.
07:03Lipstick-wise, you know, I didn't expect much wear from that.
07:05It was a normal lipstick.
07:06The eyes held up amazing.
07:08The shadow is still so pigmented and so nice.
07:12The primer held on.
07:13The shadow didn't like fall underneath my eye.
07:15The mascara was great.
07:17But the eyeliner, that's what I was so impressed with.
07:20I don't have any smudging underneath my eye.
07:22Very small amounts.
07:23Like a little bit here.
07:24Nothing too crazy.
07:25But eyeliners never stay in my tightline.
07:27But this one did.
07:28So good on you Ulta.
