00:34I feel like I didn't have that person to look to.
00:36Like, there wasn't a person that looked like me doing this for people to look up to.
00:41My main concern is that, like, literally I'm living here, and so you can see there's, like, the couch.
00:46And I have this divider space for where my bed is.
00:49I have my softboxes here because I also film all my video tutorials here.

00:54And my products are just everywhere.
00:57This is my vanity where I get ready, but it's also where I'm going to film my tutorials.

01:05So that's the whole point of in my little baby studio apartment.
01:08I want to find a way to separate a section in some way that it's, like, where I film my

01:14and I can, like, permanently have it there, which kind of feels impossible in a small space like this.

02:05Now, she is one of the hardest workers I've ever met, so this is really important to me

02:10I've thought a lot about it, and this is what I've come up with.
02:13Deepika has that huge white bookcase, but right now the baskets are just a bottomless pit
02:17for makeup.
02:17First, I'm going to take off this side so I can reattach it as a hinged door.
02:29I'm adding Velcro to the top corners so they stay up when the bin isn't in use.
02:34The last touch is adding these acrylic organizers that are great for makeup, because you can see
02:38right through them to the product.
02:40Okay, now things are going to get a little bit messier.
02:43I'm making custom embossed labels for Deepika's new bins.
02:46I printed out a font I thought Deepika would like, and I'm tracing over it with an embossing
02:50pen.
02:51The next step is covering the text in gold embossing powder, and finally heating it with
02:55the heat tool.
03:02I'm cutting them down to the perfect size so they fit on the front of the baskets.
03:07I found this great wall-mounted arm that is going to hold Deepika's ring light and camera
03:11for her beauty tutorials.
03:15I'm just doing a quick fix of spray painting the base so it blends into the wall nicely.
03:19Two coats, and this is good to go.
03:23Alright, now that I have my hacks, I'm ready to go move them into Deepika's apartment.
