00:00This is so great to have you here because there's a lot of, I think, false information, bad intel, false
00:07news, if you want to call it that, about, quote, unquote, telemarketers, that they interrupt our meals, that all they're
00:16trying to do is sell something that we don't need or don't want.
00:20So kind of put everyone at ease.
00:22Let's break down some of those stereotypes that you are not, my friend.
00:27Can you talk a little bit about that?
00:29Sure, of course.
00:30Well, the first thing is, since I'm in a position of leverage and I'm a CEO of a 150-seat
00:36call center, I have the ability to hire, fire, make, or break.
00:41And I've decided to do the former.
00:43And so empathy is very important for me, Jerry, because if nobody shows up, I have no friends and there's
00:48no birthday party.
00:49So it's very important for me, especially on the first day, is to put in perspective that what they have
00:56done by walking into my call center bilingual first bears the mark of higher education, but secondly, it's 10 times
01:04harder than what they're about to do.
