00:00Do you think gamers should pay attention to these at all or do you think this one's really sort of
00:05not for us?
00:05It would be a struggle to recommend if you're going out to buy a gaming laptop right now that you
00:11should be thinking about an RTX Spark.
00:13If you're local AI curious and have the money then a 64 gigabyte version of the RTX Spark with the
00:20higher core counts feels like a really solid thing.
00:23It's a lot of money still like I think it's 4,400, 4,500 for the 64 gigabyte version of
00:28this again with just a one terabyte SSD but that will get you all the sort of like the agentic
00:34AI stuff that you want to do will get you a good entry point and also your upgrade path is
00:38gone.
00:39Like you can upgrade the SSD but like there is no memory like you choose your memory at the point
00:45which is another issue with the lower spec ones.
00:47If you go for the 24 gig version that's it you're stuck with that for the lifetime of that machine.
00:53Because it's all soldered on memory it's all unified around which you do get a lot of gaming laptops yeah
00:57but you know a lot of them also have so you can just swap them around.
