00:00It's hard to believe there's only two weeks until some Ovens of Murray football and netball league clubs start pre
00:05-season training.
00:06So over the next few weeks we'll look at the 10 clubs and examine their agenda.
00:11Myrtleford is coming off successive preliminary final losses, but there's still a sizeable gap to the big two in Wangaratta
00:17Rovers and Wangaratta.
00:19Largely due to being the smallest town in the league, the Saints don't have a strong record of extended finals
00:24runs.
00:25So they'll be thinking, where close do we go for it?
00:29Of course, the salary cap of $137,500 and the player points restrict recruiting.
00:35But coach Craig Miller said after the preliminary final loss to Wangaratta Rovers,
00:40we've touched the hell out of the boys and squeezed as much as we can.
00:44So they know they need three to four more guns to reel in the Wangaratta clubs.
00:49Mind you, signing five-time Heidelberg Premiership player Dan O'Dwyer is a great start.
