Sports journalist Andrew Moir talks us through the O&M this weekend
Transcript
00:00Wangaratta and Wangaratta Rovers are gunning for the minor premiership and their opponents must be
00:05on full alert in the final four rounds. The pair has 48 competition points although Wangaratta has
00:11a slightly easier run home and a slight percentage lead as well. Since breaking a 30-year premiership
00:18drought against the near-unbeatable Yarrawonga in 2024, Rovers have started favourites in all 34
00:25games since. But the word around the league is that maybe Wangaratta has stolen the premiership
00:31favouritism. With their noses out of joints you can expect Rovers to come out firing. They have
00:36been slow starters in a lot of matches this season but expect them to be pumped up in the final
00:41four rounds.
