Transcript
00:00Hello, it's Andrew Boyer and the Ovens Amari Football Netball League heads into round six on Saturday with just four
00:05games, as Wodonga and Wodonga Raiders won't play again until May 30.
00:10There's two big games. Firstly, Aubrey is home to Wengaretta Rovers, while Wengaretta hosts Levington.
00:16The Panthers have dropped out of the top five after three straight losses and they will start underdogs to the
00:21rampant Wengaretta.
00:22But they have shown the ability to halt the prospect of a four-match losing streak.
00:27In 2024, Levington had two streaks of three losses, but ended the run the second time against Wengaretta Rovers, who
00:34won the grand final.
00:35The Panthers do have a brutal three-match run, though, starting with the Pies, followed by a rejuvenated Aubrey and
00:42then Rovers again.
00:44Aubrey is chasing three straight wins, but starts outside as against the Hawks.
00:48However, the Tigers are the last team to beat Rovers by eight points at Aubrey in June 2025.
00:54The Hawks have since won 14 games.
00:58Since the start of 2025, Aubrey has won eight games and lost three at home.
01:03On the road, though, Aubrey's had only two wins against Wodonga Raiders last year and Wodonga last week, while racking
01:10up ten losses.
01:12Elsewhere, Yarrawonga is home to North Aubrey, while Myrtleford hosts Coral-a-Rother-Beng.
01:17We are in Sono.
