00:00What is there that you need to know about Terrick Scoble besides the fact that he casually dots 100 on
00:04the gun
00:05as someone that has moxie on the mound that everyone wants from their true ace?
00:10Well, it's also what Terrick can bring beyond just the on-field product.
00:14It's off the field.
00:15We think about the exclusive interview with our friend here at The Post, Mike Puma,
00:19reporting with the dominant young Zach Thornton,
00:22who posted a 3.4-year array in 80 or so innings in his rookie year for the Mets this
00:26year.
00:26However, Zach over the past week stated to Mike here at The Post that, yes, I would love Terrick Scoble.
00:31Noel McClain talked with Terrick back when they were teammates on Team USA's World Baseball Classic team
00:36back in March this year about the possibility of, you know, playing together.
00:40And naturally, Thornton would love to pick the brain of one of the best starters in baseball,
00:44especially a southpaw in which there aren't nearly as many in today's game,
00:48let alone that dominate to the extent that either Zach Thornton did in his rookie year
00:51or the way that Terrick Scoble has that has really separated himself from the rest of the pack for the
00:56most part.
