00:00Junior Caminero should win AL MVP.
00:04He's not going to because Jordan Alvarez basically had a triple crown this year.
00:07But Junior Caminero is one of the most electric players in all of baseball.
00:12I want everyone on here to go back and look at the home run that he hit in game six
00:16of the ALCS
00:17to basically clinch the ALCS for them.
00:21And see the energy that that guy put out.
00:23Isn't that what baseball fans want?
00:25Throwing the bat, pounding your chest, yelling, dapping your teammates up as they storm out of the dugout.
00:31If it was the Dodgers, oh my God.
00:34If I ran into a random sports fan in Compton and I said Junior Caminero plays for Spain.
00:43He's a midfielder.
00:44They'd be like, yeah, he's nice.
00:45Okay.
00:46No idea.
00:47No idea.
00:48But this is how you build that stardom, right?
00:52Isn't this how you build that?
00:53You get to the World Series and now you're on national TV.
00:56Someone flipping through Fox is going to see Junior Caminero play.
01:00You're correct.
01:01This is how you build it.
01:03Will we see Junior Caminero play again for the Rays in this particular situation?
01:07More than likely not.
01:09He'll sign to another team.
01:11Most likely the Dodgers or the Yankees or the Red Sox.
01:15And that's where he'll get seen.
01:17And this is why they're going to be a lockout.
01:22Because these guys in these positions for these teams, the Brewers are really the first
01:28time that they really spent money on guys that they have.
01:31This is the first time.
01:33The Rays don't do it.
01:34The Rays have all-star players littered across baseball who once wore their jersey because
01:39they don't want to cut checks.
01:41They have all-stars this year.
01:43And they're not going to sign them because they don't want to cut checks.
01:46Okay, but that doesn't matter about this World Series.
01:49If you're talking about down the line, fine.
01:51No, but you're missing out my...
01:53I guess what I'm trying to explain, my grander point is the reason why baseball suffers from
02:00a regional issue is because in a situation like this, this should be celebrated.
02:05The best two teams are actually going to face each other.
02:08The problem is the best two teams won't be able to keep their players.
02:14So the reason why I should be looking forward to, let's say, next year, watching these same
02:19two teams battle it out again in the World Series, but that won't happen because likelihood
02:24of these players, any of them that are free agents will be picked up by somebody else because
02:29Tampa Bay doesn't play.
02:31And because they don't play, you can't keep your players, which means you can't keep those
02:36fans of those teams or those players, eyes glued to that organization.
02:40How do we fix that?
02:42How do we fix that to get it to the NBA level?
02:45Okay, there you go.
02:45And there probably will be one.
02:47So doesn't that help?
02:501,000%.
02:50There you go.
02:51So we're all good.
02:53Yeah.
02:53Well, we'll find out.
02:54Well, and a salary floor helps too.
02:57So everyone's like, oh, the Brewers and the Rays are saving baseball.
03:01Like there's not going to be a lockout now.
03:02This is not changing the fact that there's going to be a lockout at all.
03:07This is almost assuring there will be a lockout.
03:10Yeah.
