00:01It was just yesterday when police released images of a boy on a bike, like you said,
00:07appealing for information. Now, this was after a number of concerning allegations from a number
00:13of women on Sydney's northern beaches. At that point, police were investigating three incidents
00:19from the start of this month on popular walking tracks around the Narrabeen Lagoon, which where
00:25a lot of people go running, walking and cycling. Now, women told police that they were on these
00:31walking tracks when a man came up to them on an e-bike, touched them sexually before quickly
00:37riding away. Now, this appeal seemed to prompt something, as it was just last night that they
00:42arrested a 13-year-old boy. He was taken to Manly Police Station and charged him with 11 accounts.
00:50Now, that's eight accounts of sexually touching another person without consent and three accounts
00:55of behaving in an offensive manner. Now, he was granted bail and will face the Children's Court
01:01next month.
01:01So, do police believe that there could be more victims, potentially?
01:05Unfortunately, yes, they do. And that is because the age of these victims range from 13 to 54.
01:11And most of these incidents took place in broad daylight around 4 to 6pm. So, that's when people
01:17are walking around from home and from school. So, police are urging people in the area to speak
01:23to their family, to speak to their friends and come forward if they have any more information.
01:27But in the meantime, police say that they are going to have policemen around the area just
01:33to make the community feel safe.
