00:00If you have Halloween decorations outside or plans to see the fall colors, Friday's weather could be a problem in
00:05the northeast.
00:06From Charleston, West Virginia, through Pittsburgh, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City, we could see severe storms Friday
00:11afternoon into the evening.
00:13Now, the biggest threat is damaging wind gusts up to 75 miles an hour.
00:16That's strong enough to send unsecured Halloween decorations, trash cans, and branches flying, and cause some power outages.
00:22Now, even outside the storm, some stronger wind gusts Friday into Saturday could knock a lot of those peak fall
00:27leaves right off the trees.
00:29So share this with anyone in the risk area so they know what to expect, and please tie down those
00:33Halloween decorations before they become projectiles on Friday.
