00:07Maybe they haven't had the most robust schedule,
00:09but this is how I feel like they've been starting off here lately,
00:134-1, 3-1, and then they play a tough conference game
00:19and the wheels begin to fall off.
00:22They've got Indiana, Oregon, bye week, Washington.
00:27They finish up with Ohio State and Iowa,
00:29so it's not getting a whole lot easier.
00:33Can Nebraska, how big of a game is this for Matt Rule
00:37and the big red machine out there?
00:39You know, what a fun game that's going to be.
00:41I listened to Matt Rule's press conference yesterday,
00:44and, you know, they are doing the things that you need to do
00:49to be a successful football team.
00:51They're not turning the ball over.
00:52They've got a pretty good rushing attack.
00:54I didn't realize how good their defense has been, you know,
00:57since that, really since the first half of that game against the Ohio Bobcats,
01:02they've locked it in on defense.
01:03I think Anthony Calandra is playing very well.
01:06This is another chance for them to break a streak that is hung over the program
01:10of 30 straight losses to ranked teams, which is an incredible streak.
01:15But, yeah, I believe they haven't beaten a ranked team since Mike Riley was there.
01:21So this is a huge moment for the program.
01:25Now, knowing Matt Rule, he'll downplay that through the week.
01:28I mean, you know, they're still an underdog.
01:30This is still a really good Indiana team.
01:32But this is a chance for Nebraska to bring some of those memories back.
01:36They'll never be back at what they were at 1995 or 1994, I don't think.
01:41But they can, you know, with a victory here,
01:46you start to think of them as a playoff team.
01:48You know, they've taken care of their business so far.
01:51It's where do they go from here.
01:52And it should be a pretty special environment on Lincoln and Noon.
01:56And, you know, I think Matt Rule, me personally,
01:59I think he's one of the good guys in the sport.
02:01Good to see them winning.
02:02And it's always nice to see Nebraska, one of those classic programs,
02:05have an opportunity on this stage.
