00:00Our voices are real, our pain is real, and our demand for justice will not be silenced.
00:11This is me.
00:13This was me.
00:16My name is Charlene Rochard and I stand before you today not as a victim of rumor or conspiracy
00:25but as a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse.
00:32Far too long, survivors like me have been dismissed, silenced, are told that our pain
00:40was exaggerated or fabricated.
00:44Let me be clear.
00:47This is not a hoax.
00:49Yes, it's not.
00:51What we endured was real and it has scarred lives across five presidential administrations.
01:03The truth has been buried in sealed files and hidden records for far too long.
01:10The Epstein Files Transparency Act is not just about survivors.
01:18It's about America itself.
01:21How can we keep America great if the principles the nation was founded on that power belongs
01:28to the people is not protected?
01:32No one, no matter how wealthy and well-connected, stands above the law.
01:38If we cannot face the truth, then we betray the very ideals that defines us as a country.
01:46By passing this act, Congress has the chance to prove that truth matters more than privilege,
01:52that justice matters more than influence, and that America has the courage to confront even
02:01the most uncomfortable realities.
02:06This is not just about survivors.
02:09It's about every American who believes in accountability, fairness, and the promise of justice.
02:18I stand here today, not only for myself, but for every survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse,
02:26who has carried this burden in silence, and for every citizen who believes that justice delayed
02:35is justice denied.
02:38I want to thank Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massey for standing with us.
02:47And I especially want to thank Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
02:56Her unwavering support, her courage to stand with us, and demand transparency gives us strength.
03:07It shows that this fight for accountability is bigger than politics.
03:13It's about humanity, justice, and truth.
03:18This is about America's future.
03:22It's about whether we, the people, will be heard when we have the courage to stand for truth
03:27and justice.
03:29Our voices are real.
03:33Our pain is real.
03:36And our demand for justice will not be silenced.
