Fresh controversy has erupted after Donald Trump strongly denied any links to Jeffrey Epstein while attacking political opponents and shifting focus toward Democrats and the Clintons. Trump has repeatedly said he has “nothing to hide” and claims he has been fully cleared of wrongdoing amid renewed attention on Epstein-related files and investigations. Reports say Trump has tried to distance himself from the scandal while also accusing political rivals of using the issue for political attacks. The renewed debate comes as documents and investigations connected to Epstein continue to trigger political battles in Washington and media debates globally.

00:00I have nothing to hide. I've been exonerated. I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:04They went in hoping that they'd find it and found just the opposite. I've been totally exonerated.
00:09In fact, Jeffrey Epstein was fighting that I don't get elected with some author, a sleazebag,
00:15by the way, and I've been totally exonerated. No, no, they're getting pulled in and that's
00:21their problem. I don't know. They got to see what happens, but I watched her in Munich
00:24and she seriously has Trump derangements in. So Hillary Clinton said in an interview today
00:29that she and her husband are getting pulled into the Epstein matter to divert attention
00:34from you and that your administration has something to hide. What's your response?
00:38I have nothing to hide. I've been exonerated. I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:43They went in hoping that they'd find it and found just the opposite. I've been totally
00:47exonerated. In fact, Jeffrey Epstein was fighting that I don't get elected with some author,
00:53a sleazebag, by the way, and I've been totally exonerated. No, no, they're getting pulled in.
00:59And that's their problem. I don't know. They got to see what happens, but I watched her in Munich
01:03and she seriously has Trump derangements in. I've been totally exonerated on Epstein and it's
01:10really interesting because they've been pulled in. Think of it. They've been pulled in. Clinton
01:16and many other Democrats have been pulled in. You know, that doesn't mean, as our news commentators
01:21say every day in the United States, it's because someone's name is there. They committed a crime.
01:24But I think there's a lot of very troubling and really horrific information coming out. I've called
01:32for many, many years for everything to be put out there so people can not only see what is in
01:40them,
01:40but also, if appropriate, hold people accountable.
01:44I'd like to ask you, I'm the mother of a daughter and it absolutely horrifies me to see what the
01:50Epstein
01:51files have brought out. And I wanted to ask you, what does it say about Western values when Western
01:57leaders have perpetuated and participated in these horrific abuses of minors and girls?
02:04Thank you very much. We have gone everywhere from Newstart to Epstein.
02:12Via some fundamental questions of the critique of rules-based order from the left of civilization
02:18versus values of conservatism versus liberalism in the US and other things. Secretary Clinton,
02:26as there are a couple directly to you, let me start with you and then everyone else gets about a
02:31minute
02:31and you get a minute and a tiny bit. Yeah, I heard three in particular. To the last question,
02:37it's horrifying and we're hoping that, you know, there will be continued release every day that
02:46passes. You know, that doesn't mean, as our news commentators say every day in the United States,
02:52it's because someone's name is there they committed a crime. But I think there's a lot of very troubling
02:57and really horrific information coming out today. It came out that Steve Bannon was trying to get
03:04Jeffrey Epstein to help him overthrow Pope Francis. I guess that was part of the civilizational...
03:09True conservatism. True conservatism. So it is something that, you know, needs to be totally
03:16transparent. I've called for, you know, many, many years for everything to be put out there so people
03:22can not only see what is in them, but also, if appropriate, hold people accountable. We'll see
03:30what happens. On the New START Treaty, which we were, the Deputy, the Foreign Minister and I were
03:36talking about this just backstage, we actually signed, President Obama signed the New START Treaty
03:44in Prague. And it was, you know, one in a series of efforts to restrain the proliferation of nuclear
03:52weapons to control the U.S. and Russian arsenals. And I think it's a very big mistake for it to
03:59have
04:00been allowed to expire. I know that there was an offer, apparently, from the Russians to extend it a
04:08year during which there could be some negotiations. The Trump administration refused that. And their
04:16response was that they wanted to try to get China and other nuclear weapons countries into a regime,
04:25which more power to them if they could ever manage that and if it could be achieved. But I am
04:32very
04:33worried because Trump also, you know, he tweets or I guess he Xs or whatever he does on social media
04:39late at night. And one of his recent ones was to resume nuclear testing, underground nuclear testing.
04:45And I think that would be a terrible development. So I'm hoping that doesn't happen. And I'm hoping
04:51that there can be some efforts to reinstate some kind of nuclear arms agreements. You know, with respect
04:59to this question, if you think about the 13 colonies, you know, that was a creed. It was an idea.
05:08It was a
05:08philosophy. It did not include the entire continental United States, let alone Alaska and Hawaii. It was
05:15based on the founders' deep understanding of human nature, of philosophy, of what we might call liberal
05:22thought as they created a new country. And, you know, when I hear President or Vice President Vance
05:30say things like that about how, you know, it's a nation, it's blood and soil and all the ways that
05:36he talks about it, I think to myself, I never knew he was such a firm advocate for Native Americans.
05:42Because
05:43the idea that you would have an approach toward the United States that ripped away our founding documents,
05:52our founding philosophies, is so contrary to the way I understand American history. So I think that it is
06:01it's not only wrong historically, it is a political device that I think is very dangerous and should be
06:10rejected whole cloth.
