Delhi Police have registered 27 FIRs following protests organised since 2nd October that led to physical confrontations, injury to police personnel, and allegations against the force. Eighteen FIRs involve sections related to public servants being obstructed in the execution of their duties, while nine FIRs invoke Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. Ahead of another scheduled demonstration that was denied permission, senior police officers held a high-level meeting at the Delhi Police headquarters to review security arrangements and maintain law and order. The meeting included Special Commissioners, area DCPs, and Special Branch officers discussing security strategies and Supreme Court instructions. Police have been deployed across New Delhi, North East Delhi, and border areas on alert, using loudspeakers to inform the public about restrictions under Section 163 to prevent unauthorised gatherings.

00:00It's a big news break coming in.
00:02Multiple FIIs have been filed since 2nd of October
00:04where especially the India bloc as opposition
00:07had been organising protests.
00:09Remember, the Rajghat protest was allowed.
00:12They were escorted, accompanied by the police, by the RAF
00:16and allowed to touch down the Rajghat.
00:18But before that, the protests were not being permitted at all.
00:23And that is why it's noticeable how that means
00:26and because it led to physical confrontation as well,
00:28injury to cops and allegations against the police too,
00:33FIIs have been filed.
00:34Let's just take a look about what the reason behind these FIIs are
00:41and how the police is also, remember, doubling down in these cases.
00:46Now what I have is the latest is 27 FIIs registered
00:49and in total 18 FIIs.
00:53Also, we are while section, and this is with regard to
00:56how public servant is being disallowed
00:58and interrupted with his duties.
01:019 FIIs also invoking section 3 of the PDPP Act.
01:07I want to get all these details done.
01:09So different sections have been filed.
01:11Heading our Crime Bureau, Arvind Oja is joining me.
01:13Arvind, 27 FIIs,
01:16which is for which FIIs filed is filed?
01:18And why are they filed?
01:19And what kind of charges and sections have been filed in BNS?
01:21I want to get all these details.
01:51This is the case of the police.
02:22The most important part of the F.I.R. 27 F.I.R. was registered under the common intention of
02:29protest.
02:34If there is an investigation, the common intention of the section of the F.I.R. 27 F.I.R.
02:51was registered under the common intention
02:51of the FBI, Wach pleasant actions led to be difficult at police and threatened police.
02:56The R.I.R. 27 F.I.R. collective rights has Now per Barat Camer 28 F.I.R. 29
03:07F.I.R. 27 F.I.R. isответa
03:11his sources have been confirmed but does this mean it could be trouble brewing especially for
03:16the opposition leaders or the congress leaders who led that march and protest where the physical
03:20scuffle and confrontation happened arvind please stay on with me i have a big news coming in let's
03:24take a look at what the delhi police is up to ahead of the protest that's scheduled tomorrow
03:30a high-level meeting of senior police officers is currently on at the headquarters they want to be
03:35absolutely sure one that their own personnel do not get hit and injured but two law and order is
03:41maintained and number three you have to let democracy prevail right to protest is a democratic protest
03:48and if the police appears to be doing a shutdown it also maligns the image of the police arvind
03:53doja joins me for the latest on that arvind is meeting may kiss rank a senior officials delhi
03:58police can wall there what kind of strategy do you think is in place and as i'm looking at these
04:03visuals it's such a catch-22 situation for the delhi police there have been uh uh the allegations
04:10against the delhi police have been they have misbehaved with the youth of this country uh they
04:14they have molested and groved young female protesters they have hit the protesters badly and this is not
04:21just about young protesters otherwise or the cjp uh or or the gen z so to say but the india
04:27block
04:27leaders have made that allocation from rahul gandhi to mahua moitra other leaders have said we were also
04:34hit badly imran masood has defended uh the congress party leaders saying that any response by the congress
04:40leaders was only because the police was misbehaving so with this uh high-level meeting that is presently
04:45on at the headquarters a strategy will be put in place on the paper and for very clear clarity among
04:52all the senior police officials to then inform the constables on the ground as well because remember
04:57it's not usually the senior ips officers who are caught in that mayhem it's the constables on the
05:03ground men and women in uniform who have to deal with the detentions and more so there will have to
05:08be
05:09an absolute clear view about how that needs to be done if the protest is illegal if the protest has
05:15been deemed unlawful as the joint cp nupar prasad said a few hours ago in that press conference
05:21the top delhi police officials will have to ensure that especially when the cameras are rolling
05:27and the visual evidence is for all to see you cannot have instances of the police thrashing
05:34young ones not even senior political leaders they are reviewing the emerging law and order situation
05:39especially ahead of the protest what kind of deployment will be needed women and male personnel
05:45is delhi police enough do they have the rapid action force or other companies of the capf who
05:51will also have to join in they'll examine also the recent observations made by the supreme court
05:56supreme court has said we understand you have to regulate law and order but you have to minimize
06:00the inconvenience that is being caused to the commuters on the ground delhi police's top officials
06:07are holding this meeting at the delhi police headquarters in central delhi ahead of especially
06:11the cjp protest the protest that has been denied permission
06:20that has been denied permission but the cjp remember has said
06:24they are going to be at the protest venue they will be on the ground doesn't matter if they've been
06:31given permission or not in a situation like this remember barricades will be set up
06:35the protesters will not be allowed and they maintain that they will be anyway marching that
06:41means the police will stop them what happens when the protesters intend to march and the police will
06:46stop there is going to be a confrontation and that is where the police will have to be prepared now
06:50just to give you a background ladies and gentlemen uh there cannot be force immediately used there are
06:56parameters so there is of course announcements that are made there are barricades then comes the water
07:03cannons then possibly a bit of lathe charge and then from there the detentions can also happen
07:09uh which and that is where the confrontation usually takes a violent turn so all of this while will be
07:16deployed will the cjp protests back out arvind oja is joining us on the latest on that arvind uh
07:23this rank you officials uh this meeting may hongi kya strategy rahegi kyunki police agar protest
07:29allow naihi karte confrontation hoti hai toh bhi uh unko criticism ae ga or agar allow
07:34karti hai aur phir scuffle hoota hai toh bhi unko criticism ae ga kis tarah se wo review
07:38karen law and order ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah
07:57I don't want to talk about the new Delhi area, but also North East Delhi area.
08:02The whole Delhi area has been appealed to people.
08:08They are telling us that the new Delhi area has been put in BNS 163.
08:13There is no protest illegal.
08:15No one will go there.
08:17The whole Delhi area is in alert mode.
08:21And if there is no protest, or if there is no protest,
08:25or if there is no protest, then how will it be taken to you?
08:29With that, the whole integrity of the Delhi police officer is making a radniti
08:35which will not be destroyed by the Delhi police.
08:39Eventually, remember, you are talking about Rajdhani, Delhi,
08:42and you have to be, as a national capital, also set a benchmark of peace and of peaceful protest.
