00:00In this video, I will show you how to create a ChatGPT account.
00:05To get started, open up a new internet browser, come across to google.com and just google
00:10search for ChatGPT.
00:12Once you've done that, you want to click onto the top result.
00:14Alternatively, you can just come across to the official website, which is chatgpt.com.
00:20Now once you come across to the website, if you look in the top right hand corner, you're
00:23going to see the button to sign up for free.
00:26Give that a click.
00:26What that's going to do is open a screen like this, where you can either sign up with
00:30a Google account, Apple account, your phone number, or just an email address.
00:35For the purpose of this tutorial, I'm just going to sign up with an email address.
00:39Once you've done that, click onto continue.
00:41Then what it's going to do is send a verification code to your email.
00:45So you want to enter that into the box here.
00:48Make sure to check your junk and spam folders, as sometimes the verification code does end
00:52up in those folders as well.
00:53Once you've done that, click onto continue.
00:55And once that's done, as you can see, it's going to take you back to this screen here,
00:59where you can see our account is now created.
01:02From here, you can start to use chatgpt straight away.
