00:06think the chances are that we'll continue to see you playing left field at Wrigley Field in the
00:10future yeah that's a good question uh I don't have any answers about it right now it's it's um
00:17you know obviously like I said I've loved my time in Chicago and it's been amazing um you know the
00:24free agency process is it's not something I've been through before um you know I was lucky enough
00:29to sign an extension before um having to go through the process earlier in my career and so
00:35um you know I don't really know what the process holds or how it's going to play out and and
00:41to
00:41be honest what the Cubs um want to do and what their future is going to look like and I
00:45think that
00:46that's kind of the uniqueness of of this this situation this team is kind of they have a bunch
00:53of different directions they can go in um and so we'll see how it all plays out in the coming
00:59months do you look forward to this process at all the free agent process to see what you're worth
01:05uh yeah I think there's things about it that are that are exciting and interesting um and you know
01:11far less about what you're worth and and much more about and I've been in the same place for
01:1610 years and experienced one organization and um you know you don't get to talk to other teams and
01:23GMs and front offices much and so I think that'll be an interesting part of the process just seeing how
01:28other how other people view the world and what that looks like um and you know I've been lucky to
01:35be here for 10 years but you do get you know you get your people's opinions and um it's been
01:40amazing
01:41to have the consistency that we've had between you know with Jed being here the entire time um
01:45um and so you know you you you really understand and and know how how they um value players and
01:53and what
01:54they care about and um and it'll be interesting to see kind of uh the other side of
