00:00Czechia head coach Santi Dania has compared Anthony Gordon with his Barcelona team-mate Lamin Jamal ahead of England's Nations
00:09League meeting with Czechia at Wembley.
00:12Dania, who spent 15 years working with Spain's youth set-up, was hugely impressed by Gordon's recent form and believes
00:20the England winger is operating at the same level as Jamal.
00:24He highlighted Gordon's pace, one-on-one ability and willingness to take on defenders as qualities that put him alongside
00:32the Spanish youngster.
00:35Here is how England defender Trevor Shalaba reacted to the comparison.
00:39The Czechia coach was famously the Spanish youth coach, helped transform this Spanish side that we now see the world
00:47champions won Olympic gold with them.
00:49He's talked about what he sees England as one of the top three teams.
00:53He believes the World Cup finals are in their future, potentially winning the World Cup and that Spain also had
00:58to make those key adjustments.
00:59But he's said this week that Anthony Gordon reminds him of Lamin Jamal because of the level he's playing at.
01:06What do you make of that as a person that goes man-to-man with him?
01:11Yeah, Gordon's on a high level at the moment.
01:14Obviously, when you're playing in a Barcelona team, you're only going to improve.
01:17You know, he's showing his qualities.
01:20And I said, it's good that we have him on our team.
01:21And as I said, the fluidity that that frontline has is really good.
01:25And yeah, he's just going to keep getting better and better.
