00:00England defeated Croatia 7-0 in what has been hailed as an absolute masterclass from Thomas Tuchel.
00:07It has been, without a doubt, the most impressive performance since the German took charge of England.
00:12The three Lions defeated their opposition away in Croatia, which only makes the scoreline more impressive.
00:19Despite the Croatians having a slightly ageing squad, England showed their technical dominance.
00:25Manager Thomas Tuchel was extremely happy with the result and the performance.
00:29Here's what he had to say.
00:31Given the nature of that victory, both in terms of performance and scoreline, would it be going overboard to describe
00:37it as a masterclass?
00:39No, it was a fantastic victory. It's an outstanding result, of course.
00:43And the performance underlying this result is just on the highest level from the first minute till the last minute.
00:52I think there were some four or five minutes after the 3-0, where we gave the big chance away
00:58and had some ball losses and conceded some half chances and delivery.
01:02But overall, the speed and the technical quality today and the hunger of the ball was on the very highest
01:11level.
01:13I'm very happy about the attitude, which we finished the game.
01:19In the second half, we never let go. We were very humble. We were never arrogant in how we approached
01:26this game and made it really a 90 minutes complete performance from start to finish.
01:33Congratulations to everyone and also the substitutions and the energy, which we came in, the work rate and the quality
01:42was on the highest level today.
