01:26right so that's what makes it pretty hard what did you uh i mean seeing the way like you you

01:33it was did you did you like get moved different because you had a different coach this year for
01:36the national team so like were you working on some some different stuff uh with not really not really
01:40usually similar i mean you have one of the best players in the world you know playing with you so
01:45kind of play around him and um it's always easy i mean that's what you know it's probably similar
01:50to play with yannis we have someone who's that good and who everybody usually thinks about you
01:54know and they're like concentrating on one guy everybody everything else is just easy i mean
01:59he makes a game easy for everybody else did you think at any point you were going to be in

02:04honest trade like when you got him like you're like i'm still here and i get to play with yannis
02:08like how did that how did you experience the summer knowing that we're gonna be all those rumors
02:11floating around yeah i mean there's rumors every summer so i think i got pretty used to it you know
02:18like uh i was in so many trade rovers this literally since i came before i even played my
02:24first game here right oh were you in the dame package were you in the uh yeah it's like we

02:36handle like do you get used to it do you talk to other players and they say it's just part

02:42you just get used to it right i swear like i always used to be frustrated my my my first

02:53you know it's simple as that but if i can't do nothing about it like how why would i be

02:59so you know uh i i can't say i stopped caring but it was more like i it is what

03:10so yeah just flow with it and then what happens happens and uh when i saw the yannis trade you
03:15know of course i was in shock with you know the the the guys we lost because you know since

03:52and i'm happy i'm here what did you think of uh pella larson summer i mean you've uh been in

03:57high atmosphere world cup games i mean he's got the headband on now he's got like a whole new aura

04:02him but fella fella was dropping some uh dropping a lot of points there for sweden fella got a whole
04:07sweden going yeah right the arena spec i saw everything you know it's it's ridiculous what
04:12the guy is doing i mean uh since he came i don't think anybody thought he's gonna have that big

04:19jump killing he's a killer man he's a killer really good i'm sure everybody deals with differently but
04:26he just got the extension is that a relief as a basketball player or is there pressure that comes with
04:30that oh i think both i think both but at the end of the day it's just basketball you know
04:35i never felt
04:36like you know it changed anything for me it changed in a way where you know i felt like that
04:42that's
04:43something i wanted so bad and then it happened so my motivation went actually a little bit down which
04:48which is weird you would think like hey everything is after that everything is better but mentally i was
04:54actually down a little bit after that but it's i mean it changes your life it changes your you know
04:59kids life and your family life everybody's life so you know there's it's it's a relief you know can't
05:05say much more than that so it's good to to see you back and ready to go um what is

05:15i can't wait for you to tell the first story you have going against bobby portis he's like bobby just
05:22practicing against him because you guys do similar things but he's he's he's he's at a different yes
05:30kind of level yeah i worked out with bobby my first time in in vegas okay i was a little
05:37scared
05:39the guy the guy's a little scary but not much you know cool guy cool yeah it's funny as hell

05:45so uh it was a cool workout but then uh we came uh we went to la for our little
05:52like training camp
05:53however you i don't know how people even call it yeah right uh and when we ran pickup it was
06:00i played
06:00with him and clay and bobby was talking crazy right crazy like crazy today beyond i don't know who else
06:11and it's like damn like that that's who he is you know so you gotta get used to he's one
06:16of those
06:16guys that they're like you hate playing against but you're glad he's on your team yeah you love him
06:23being like you know next to you and fighting for you because he's gonna fight for you and you can
06:27see it like the guy wants to win as simple as that what's uh what was clay thompson's boat like
06:32it wasn't his boat actually oh okay but he was just piloting it or you guys are you just not
06:37really but
06:38he organized it okay because his boat i guess is not that big for you i mean there's a lot
06:43of people
06:44on the boat so you know you gotta have a big boat but his boat boat doesn't get i get
06:48i think is a
06:49little smaller but it was cool cool you guys uh felt it bonding like it was an important thing because
06:55obviously there's a lot of new faces here yeah i think i think it was important because it's a lot
06:59different you know and then um uh just like it would have been really seeing weird seeing them right
07:06now for the first time you know that way we kind of get to know each other and it's it's
07:11pretty
07:11smooth right now you know it feels like you already know them for like a long period of time what
07:16were
07:16the uh the conversations like with uh with spo man like as far as role is concerned because i'm sure
07:21you have conversations uh at the end of the season i think did he come visit you in europe at
07:26all like
07:26and so like what was uh i guess what are they shooting for for you for this year
07:31uh i mean me and spo talked you know talked i wouldn't say a lot depends on which you look
07:37at
07:38as a lot you know but we talked for sure while i was here while i was in uh vegas
07:43he came to europe too
07:45so i did talk to him and uh it was simple you know like spo spo is pretty simple he
07:51just like i said
07:52same as he just want to win you know he's he's gonna do whatever he thinks is the best for
07:58the team i'm
07:59uh i'm also the guy who want to win and i'm a competitive in a in uh in a different
08:03way you know
08:04maybe i can you know get pretty pretty fired up you know easily and stuff like that and uh we
08:11just
08:11talked a little bit it's not much uh it's nothing crazy we talked about it's uh just making things
08:17simple not just for you know uh just to understand each other and i think it was we went pretty

08:26you know i'm happy with you know how i dealt with my summer you know i wouldn't say i was
08:31the smartest
08:32guy last year in a type of handling things out outside of the court and uh i'm happy where i'm
08:39at
08:40right now i did a lot of work and uh what they're aiming for this year i mean i don't
08:44know i don't
08:45think anybody knows what's what's gonna happen during next four or five days of training camp but
08:52hopefully they're aiming for me to play and help the team win did you um you know with dealing with
08:57all that are you excited about a team that's got a lot of pressure on it again because he talked
09:02about
09:02just the spotlight again and like being a team that's like we're looked at as contenders not just
09:06a spunky young team yeah i love it i love it that was the best because when when there's pressure
09:11you
09:11you really see who's who's at what level and i think that's that's what everybody loves that wow
09:17that's what i love and i feel like that's what everybody lives for i mean at the end of the
09:21day
09:21you want to have that pressure that's positive pressure you know if you can't handle that you
