00:00When Paris first came to us she was terrified and honestly it was really tough to see so we made
00:06it
00:07our mission to help her become the bouncy playful puppy we knew she could be. Over the past few
00:13weeks our entire pack has been helping her come out of her shell and by the end of this video
00:17she even has a meet and greet for a potential forever home but I don't want to get ahead of
00:22her story just yet. When we first brought Paris in she was really shy and unsure. She met the
00:28entire pack and had a pretty timid first day but we were already starting to see glimpses
00:34of the puppy hiding underneath.
00:49So the first full day with her is going well she's settling and recovering but last night she did
00:55sleep in our room and we really want her to be able to sleep downstairs on her own so it's
01:00time
01:00to start ticking off our checklist we made for Paris and get straight into crate training.
01:06Okay we're gonna give her lunch because she could do with a little bit of fattening up it gives us
01:12an
01:12excuse to continue to crate train her and as you can see she is a hungry girl every time we're
01:20feeding
01:20like she's absolutely hoovering her food down. All right she has eaten we're just gonna give her a
01:25tiny bit in her crate hopefully not crying because that's kind of the plan is to crate her tonight.
01:31I'm not sure how that's gonna go by the way the reason it's so dark in here is because it's
01:34so hot
01:34our little uk house doesn't have any aircon so we're trying to keep the heat out. She's doing good in
01:39the crate oh a few cries so what we're gonna do now is there we go that's good it's gonna
01:45say what
01:45we're gonna do is we're gonna wait for her to sit not cry look you got a little one there

01:51dropped one bit of kibble there you go you can come out now good girl and then we're gonna put
01:57her
01:57outside because she's a puppy and she's just eating come on Paris come on good girl well done.
02:04Throughout the day we would give her treats in her crate put her in there for rests until she
02:09eventually started going in there herself I think we made good progress but how will she be tonight?
02:16I've got both dogs in their crates I'm currently just sitting here so that they don't cry and then
02:22we've got a camera there to keep an eye on them hopefully it's gonna be a nice peaceful night I'm
02:29not so sure. So she had another dog Ruby next to her and I'm proud to say she did set
02:35up for the night
02:35crate training complete let's now see how she is the next morning. Paris' first time in her crate let's go

03:16so she didn't have one accident and surprisingly she barely chewed the mat I thought it'd be absolutely
03:21ripped to threads so she now sees the crate as her safe space see if she'll leave look slightly
03:26back away from her Ella and see if she'll come out she's leaning yeah look oh there we go so

03:33running back in but that's really good the fact she has a safe space now and you can tell she's
03:39starting to become more comfortable because she's even started to follow Ella around
03:51she is such a dream already in just a day
03:56it is so sweet
03:58then Paris really started showing how much she loves the other dogs
04:08Francis is trying to play with Paris and Paris is just so unsure because of his little growls
04:16Paris even started to play with Kobe and bear in mind Kobe does not usually like puppies
04:22yeah look at him he actually likes her look at him
04:27Paris even got to a point where she was literally egging on Kobe and Moki to play
04:32look at her look at her I think it's safe to say we can now tick off Paris becoming best

04:44with all the dogs you'll see later on in the video though she takes this to a whole nother level
04:49okay we are about to take Paris on her first ever walk we are going to be bringing Kobe and
04:58Moki for
04:59support with her because she has never gone out but this will be interesting obviously we first
05:04walked her when she met Francis and that was sort of the first time she went out she was quite
05:12scared
05:12but you can see she's come out her shell quite a bit over the past few days she's a lot
05:17more adventurous
05:18now she doesn't look anywhere near as scared so hopefully this is going to be a bit of a different
05:24story okay dogs are leaded up let's see how she does she's never had a lead on before but let's
05:30see
05:30I'm hoping she follows Kobe and Moki she already looks interested which is good oh wow look right
05:36come on Paris there's a road come on no time come on Paris for that she's got a car coming

06:03difference and she's so excited to walk so this dog has literally never been on a walk in her life
06:10until today until today yeah come on Paris I have got on a long lead as well just in case

06:17have a little run around like that oh oh that was so dramatic I know so time to let Kobe
06:27and Moki off

06:48oh look at her good girl well done yes Paris absolutely loved her first ever walk she looks
06:55so confident already which is great now that's complete we can take her home and it seems like
07:01this was a good bonding experience for her and Moki look at this dog she's stolen Moki's toy

07:22think it's safe to say we're finally starting to see that crazy puppy energy we knew was there
07:28we then gave her a strawberry for the first time and she did this
07:33and she's now really starting to show us some love and affection too

07:53now we put her in the back of the car with Kobe and Moki she did really good and we've

07:59for her okay we have arrived to this enclosed field there is a gate that you can also close so
08:08it means that these dogs can come out straight away come on then come on Paris
08:17so this is going to be Paris's very first off lead walk come on Paris

08:34so usually it takes them a little moment to realize that they're completely free and they can run around
08:43whoo oh that's nice that she's still coming up to us come on then got it got it got it

09:05she's having the time of her life the dogs all then got a bit too excited and it led to

09:17now she could actually run around oh

09:27Kobe fully rugby tackled her Kobe that wasn't very nice was it oh Paris you okay Paris good girl
09:36are you okay yeah I'm all right I'll be tackled you she absolutely loved her off lead adventure
09:45she's really growing in confidence now so we decided to test her we're going to be bringing
09:49her around a bunch of people and traffic for the first time
09:54so we have got Paris and we do plan on taking her to where there's a few more people but
10:01right now
10:03we've just come to like somewhat of a quiet side street where there's not too many people
10:08so that she can just get used to like the cars and a much busier place you can already see
10:12she's a lot
10:13more like tentative freezing and spots so that's why we don't want to go straight into town where it's
10:18going to be super busy and we've got Kobe for some support we're going to do lots of stops so
10:23she's
10:23actually got time to take everything in and if she shows positive signs we'll see about taking her
10:30to town it is market day though and it's super busy so we're not too keen but it really all
10:35depends
10:36on how well she gets on another car coming
10:42good girl come on then that was good a little step back because the van was loud
10:47but that wasn't too bad and we've got people coming now having cars going past and lots of
10:51people around may seem small and easy to us but Paris has never been in an environment like this
10:56she's not sure if people are going to hurt her if cars are going to hurt her and she's never
11:01had
11:02this much stimulation in one place this is why we're going to take things really slowly and only go at
11:08her pace so having Kobe here will be a big help because also when she gets
11:13you can see lots of shaking off also when she gets scared just being like come on Kobe let's go

11:20think she'll follow him we stopped off in a somewhat busy area so she could take everything all in
11:25she's doing well no super scared signs so we continue to walk her and her confidence only
11:30grew and grew come on then what about us good girl look they don't care they're just gonna carry on
11:38past you good girl she's not looking but she's good i was gonna say it's helping that people no one's
11:43paying her any mind yeah because she's getting i can when someone passes she stops a little bit
11:49and then she now where she's realizing no one's going to pay her any mind she's sorry um she's
11:54then a bit more comfortable yeah all right she's doing very good it's funny this is going to tire
11:58her out so much i know oh my gosh she's getting better with people walking past yeah look wow that
12:05one she didn't stop at all no okay we're going to come into here which is sort of like the
12:11side alleyway
12:11into town but there's a lot of space here and people walk down here quite a bit yeah so we're
12:20not going to bring her actually into town i don't know look she's already like you're letting me know
12:24it's a bit too much darling you have a big sniff don't eat the cigarette please right come on paris
12:29let's see come on goby good go that's a reflection nice and confidence nice and confidence nice and
12:36confident so we paused here with paris so that she's not too close to all the people
12:41and left her to just take everything in this sweet elderly couple came to say hi and paris did great
12:47we were here for about 10 minutes and then edged closer to the busy part to see if she would
12:52be
12:52comfortable look she wants to get stuck in now look at her so you want to take her a tiny
12:57bit closer
12:58yeah just uh just like five meters all right oh i think she wants to go she's she wants to

13:04corner oh sure go to her place if she wants to go let her she's getting curious she's taking me
13:10the uh the people and everything around that corner yeah show show around the corner because
13:15it is busy busy it is really busy so i think this is good because we're in the corner she

13:23retreat yeah and go back oh god look i think she wanted to see around the corner now she's seeing
13:29it she's like oh wow maybe we can get her a pup cup what take her into a shop pup

13:34just there oh we didn't get one and bring it here no like maybe we could get that let's try

15:27it you can feel it it feels like she's double coated it's really tight for paris oh she's not taking

16:27and then it kind of started hitting us she may be leaving today i'll be honest paris leaving
16:33is going to be hard because she literally doesn't have a bad bone in her body and she got on
16:39with kobe
16:39mochi so well it's gonna be sad to see her go but she's gonna be such a good dog isn't
16:43she and
16:44someone else's home oh she's a good girl honestly she doesn't have a bad bone in her body this dog
16:51she's the sweetest thing so ella has gotten paris's goodie bag ready she's got like all of her paperwork
17:00licking mats her harness some toys some blankets that smell like here some shoes she is ready to go
17:09so paris's potential new forever family came in and just look at how confident she is almost
17:15unrecognizable from when we first got her she absolutely loved this couple and they loved
17:20paris i mean how could you not we did ideally want paris to go to a home with another dog
17:26but this couple were perfect for her they have loads of dogs in their family that they see lots
17:31and have previously rescued before we just knew this would be the perfect home for paris
17:36oh look at kobe this is like the first time he's played with her he gets overexcited yeah it's like
17:41i'm showing up look at he's pinning her he's like you better behave for these people
17:50paris is so comfortable and confident with them they did decide to adopt her and we actually mentioned
17:56that we thought it would be a good idea to get their family dog around the first day seeing as
18:00paris
18:00get so much confident from other dogs and they did just that and look at paris go they've actually
18:06had her for a couple weeks now and she watches herself on tv and they even took her to a
18:12beach
18:12with a bunch of other dogs and she's just living her best life thank you paris for being the perfect
