Stanley was the rescue puppy nobody could handle, but our Golden Retriever Kobe and the rest of the pack gave him one last chance. After being returned from a failed home after just 48 hours, the high-energy puppy arrived full of confidence, zoomies, and big feelings, and we had to figure out how to keep him safe, calm, and teach him boundaries.
From meeting our nervous rescue Scout to bonding with our playful Doberman Moki and jealous Golden Retriever Kobe, Stanley quickly showed he was brave, mouthy, and very strong-willed. We worked on crate training, settling, toilet breaks, feeding routines, and positive associations, while also dealing with a bite, a vet check, and the reality that he needed a very experienced home. His first walk, his first off-lead run, and his reaction to another dog all helped us understand what kind of forever home he really needed.
This rescue dog story is part puppy training, part foster journey, and part real-life dog behaviour and socialisation. It is especially useful for viewers searching for rescue puppy stories, Golden Retriever and puppy introductions, crate training for high-energy dogs, dog adoption journeys, and dog pack dynamics.
For anyone looking for rescue puppy storytime, dog training and socialisation content, foster dog updates, and real-life puppy behaviour videos, this is a detailed look at a chaotic but hopeful journey. It also fits searches for Golden Retriever rescue content, puppy crate training, and adoption stories with dogs.

00:00They said his energy was impossible. We thought we found him the perfect home and then I got a
00:05phone call that changed everything. I think we have to return Stanley. After just 48 hours,
00:11Stanley was being returned. He was officially too much to handle and now he's back at square one.
00:17How do you find a forever home for a dog that keeps getting rejected? Well,
00:22this was Stanley's last chance and we weren't going to fail him.
00:26So, we have just rescued Stanley. We put Stanley into the car and we could instantly tell this dog
00:32is highly strong. We brought him home and put him straight into the garden. Come on, Stanley.
00:39Oh, good boy. This puppy is brave. Showed no signs of fear, but the real test was how Kobe and
00:45the
00:45pack would react to this. Well, let's find out. We're going to start by bringing out our super
00:49shy rescue Scout. Come on, Scout out. Come on, Scout out. Come on, Scout out. This is the trouble
00:57that I have. Come on, Scout out. Come on, Scout out. Good boy. Good boy. Come on, Scout out. I've
01:05managed
01:05to get one dog out. He's still super scared, so I don't expect him to come up to Stanley. He
01:11looks
01:11like he's waiting very patiently. So, we're going to leave Scout alone there. I'm going to come back
01:15to Stanley and we're going to pay him some attention. Oh, my God. No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
01:20no, no,
01:20no, no. He bit a bee and he just got it. Oh, boy. We're in for a ride with this
01:25one. He looks
01:26quite curious on Scout. Like I said, because Scout's quite scared, we knew that he wouldn't come over.
01:31He's sniffing where Stanley's just been. I'm going to go and get Moki, who is our lovable and playful
01:36Doberman, and we think she will match his puppy energy quite well. Thank you. Moki out.
01:46Hello, Moki girl. Oh, he did a little skid. Oh, he did play ball.
01:55Oh. Oh, my God. Those are absolutely adorable. Oh, look at Scout. Scout's now brave enough to come
01:59over because Moki's leaning. Look at him leaning. Oh, he's gone all submissive. Oh, look at his little
02:05tail. So, we're hoping that these two are going to be best friends, but you'll see later on in the
02:10video. These two got into a bad fight. So, I think we let Moki through, not Scout yet, but I
02:19think we
02:19let Moki come through to this little section. What do you think? I think it'll be fine. I wasn't
02:24confident on letting Scout through yet because I started wanting to get overwhelmed because I feel
02:28like Stanley might overwhelm him a bit. Scalzi, who's that? What do you reckon? I think it'll be okay.
02:32Okay. I think as long as you don't move. Okay. All right. Open up. All right. We're going to open
02:37it
02:37up. After this, we will get him to meet Kobe, but Stanley's showing some good signs, lots of tail
02:41wags, play bowing, just really being puffy behavior. So, we're going to let him out and Ella be at the
02:46ready in case anything goes wrong. Here, Stanley. There. Oh, look at Scout. Gently Scout. Yes, he's
03:01being gentle. Look. Good boy. Oh, they're proper. Snipping him. Yeah. He's being so playful. Look. Yeah,
03:08he's being really good. Oh. Oh my God. Oh, Moki's even joining in. Oh my God. Oh,
03:16he's so good with dogs. Oh, look at Scout. Scout's like, we're going to be best friends. Good boy,
03:23Scout. Oh my God. Look at Scout. Lots of play bows. Oh. Really, really good to see. Oh my God.
03:28This
03:28has made me so happy to see. So, if you don't know who Scout is, he's literally like one of
03:33the most
03:33terrified dogs we've ever rescued. He would literally be completely frozen in fear. So, this moment with
03:38Stanley is huge for him. Good boy. Oh, you're being brave. Stanley's so playful. Oh, this. Oh,
03:46Oh my God. Oh my God. This is going to be perfect for Scout. Moki's unsure. Moki's like,
03:51I just want to get out of the wet and the dirt. Oh, this has made me so happy. I
03:54think it's going to
03:55help Scout a lot. Yeah, same. Oh my God. Scout can tell. Scout knows he's older than him. Yeah.
04:02Doesn't he? Yeah, but look, they want to. Okay. That went as good as I think it could have gone.
04:08To be honest, I'm just going to bring Kobe out to here. Yeah. I think, I don't think you need
04:12to do the
04:12barrier with him. Yeah. Because Stanley is just amazing with dogs. So, let me go and get our
04:17lovable, but very jealous. And I think he's going to be very jealous. Golden Retriever, Kobe.
04:22Come on, Kobe boy. You ready? Go on then, Kobe. Good boy. Look at Stanley. He's like,
04:28another one? Are you serious? Oh, he's going all submissive. He's like, I'm just the Bubba.
04:35Moki, Moki, Moki. What? Don't run him down. Well, he's getting scared. Look,
04:39Moki's like, they're all chasing after him. Let Kobe say hello. Moki. Good girl.
04:45She's having a sniff as well. Oh, Kobe's tail. He's like, I'm just a Bubba.
04:50I know. He's like, literally like, I'm just a baby. He's got amazing dog manners. Bear in mind,
04:56he's just come into three big dogs. So we think, or we've been told he is husky German Shepherd.
05:01I'm not entirely sure. If he is husky German Shepherd, he's going to be very stubborn. He's going to be
05:05very strong minded, very strong willed. And so these dogs would be really good to teach him dog manners.
05:09Oh, he's gone all submissive. He's doing so good. So the reason we're not opening this up yet is
05:14because this one, who's still quite scared, literally came into the garden for the first time
05:19yesterday. Yeah. And so we don't want him to have all access into the garden in case he makes a
05:23dive
05:23and a run for it. So the plan now is to get Stanley into the house so he can get
05:27used to his new home.
05:28But he had other ideas. Oh, he's got the zoomies. He's got the zoomies. He's going nuts. All right,
05:36should we try going inside again? Come on, Stanley. Let's try this again. Oh my God,
05:40he's got the puppy zoomies and he just can't stop running. And Moki's getting all excited.
05:45Okay, trying to get him to explore the house. Scout's gone back into his crate and he's kind of like,
05:51what are you doing in there? Stanley's having a good look and a good sniff of everything.
05:58I think the way that he like bounces around really interests the dogs. Oh yeah,
06:03opening the conservatory up because the weather's nice. He's also got this room here. He's not shy,
06:08is he? No, he's very confident dog. So this is actually Stanley's third home and he's only four
06:16months old. And so with a dog like him, who clearly needs a lot of training is super high energy
06:22and he
06:22needs his boundaries set. Obviously not having a consistent home, a consistent leader has probably
06:27made our job 10 times harder. But you'll see later on, he actually gets adopted, but things seem to go
06:33wrong again. He then tested the boundaries straight away. We know we'll have to be firm with this one.
06:43This was just the start of Stanley testing us. It might look harmless on camera and he's still a
06:48puppy. But with a dog like Stanley, if you don't set clear boundaries, it'll only get worse. From
06:53what we've been told, his previous homes were first time owners. And honestly, Stanley is not a good
06:58first dog to have. And then we had another problem. You can see Stanley kept trying to mount Scout. We
07:04usually leave it to the dogs to tell them they don't like it, but you'll see later Scout took it
07:09too far.
07:12So we also know that he needs a lot of being taught how to be calm. So we had to
07:18do that with
07:19Moki where these breeds that are working breeds want a job to do constantly. And so he's probably
07:24absolutely exhausted right now, but nobody has taught him. Now's the time to actually just calm down,
07:29relax, have a nap. And so he also needs to be taught that. We got him inside to try and
07:33relax,
07:33but realized we had a problem. So we don't actually even have a crate for him yet because that is
07:40how
07:40much of a last minute rescue he was. And so me or Ella are going to go to pets at
07:45home to just pick
07:46up a crate because a high... Kobe's telling him. Because a high energy dog like this will need to
07:54basically just have a place to decompress to settle. So we need to go and get him a crate, but
07:59we also got
08:00to training him and setting boundaries straight away. So the first thing we're out. The first
08:05thing we're going to teach him is being out of the kitchen. Out. Go on. We don't want you in
08:09here.
08:09This is where food's made. And we'll just keep repeating that over and over and over again,
08:15because he needs to learn boundaries. Not me pretending like I'm like, yeah, look at that.
08:20He's clearly a quick learner, but Stanley, we have obviously just rescued him. So we also want to make
08:25sure that he's feeling all the love and he feels safe too. And it wasn't just us that needed to
08:30teach him boundaries too. There we go.
08:39Oh, so he needs to learn that when Moki's laying down, she doesn't want to play,
08:44that's her resting, but she's doing a good job in teaching him that. Stanley did actually
08:48eventually relax, which is really good. And it finally gave me a chance to get his crate.
08:53Okay. We have got two medium crates. I stopped filming in the shop because I find it so awkward
08:59filming in public, but I have come out with two medium crates because the crate that Scout is in
09:04at the moment is just too big for him. And I got him a new collar to properly welcome him
09:10into the pack.
09:11I got him two because I wasn't sure if he'd be small or medium. And I also got him some
09:17puppy
09:18dental treats as well to give him something to chew on.
09:20So we got to taking down Scout's crate, putting up his new one and then putting up Stanley's crate.
09:26We have got Stanley's crate and we have got Scout's crate. We're now just going to put blankets on top
09:32because a lot of people don't realize that dogs like to have like little corners like to themselves.
09:38I feel like they're in a little den. First dog to come in is Scout. Let's see how he likes
09:41his new crate.
09:42Come on, Scout. Come on then. Whoa. Yeah, that's a perfect fit for him. You see how he like tucks
09:50himself into the corner because he wants a nice small crate. He's trying to tuck himself and be
09:55small. He's having a good little sniff around there. Right. And then Stanley looks like he's outside
09:59destroying something. Stanley, come on, mate. What you got? What you got? Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
10:07My God, this dog is absolutely crazy. What you got? What's that? Stanley, let me see. What's that?
10:12Oh, you can tell he's not used to having things taken from his mouth. So we've got Stanley in.
10:17Let's put his new collar on him as well. He's going to look absolutely adorable.
10:21Oh, they're gone. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, Stanley, you idiot. We put him outside.
10:32He tried to eat some rocks. Hey, Stanley, no, no, no, no. So even moments like that,
10:40he just needs to learn. No, we don't want him to pick up the rocks. It's not okay. Good boy.
10:45This dog is absolutely crazy. Eight out. No. Good boy. This dog's nuts. What have we got ourselves
10:54into? And then it was time to put his new collar on him and officially welcome him into the pack.
11:00Okay. New collar on Stanley. Ella says she doesn't like it, but I've already bought it. So
11:05at least you don't like it. Oh, never mind then. Oh, Stanley boy. Look at you. Yeah,
11:13it suits him, no? You're an official foster. It suits him. He's like, let me back out there,
11:19mum. I want to go play. Oh, he's trying to chew the emblem. He's trying to chew the tag.
11:26Yeah, they all do. Okay. First toy for Stanley. The question is, is Moki wants it. So I think what
11:33I'm
11:33doing, Stanley, I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to give it to Moki because I know
11:36she can
11:37share and see if Stanley will take it off her. Because obviously we don't know what he's like
11:41with toys and other dogs. And so I don't want to give it to him and then he's going to
11:44be protective
11:45over it. Oh, what's that? He doesn't want a toy. He's being shy. He's like, I'd like to play with
11:56that.
11:57And now it's finally time to feed all four dogs their food.
12:01We have got Stanley's food ready. We've gotten this huge like slow feeder bowl that is going to help
12:07him decompress after the move. We have got Kobe or Moki. This is Kobe. I can tell by the amount.
12:12That's Moki's. That's Scouts. And oh, he's literally sitting on my foot. We are going to feed him this
12:17in his crate to associate positive things with it. And it will actually be the first time he has gone
12:23into the crate. Come on, Stanley. I'm going to put Stanley.
12:27Figure out, mate. Stanley. Stanley, what's this? Come. There you go. Right. Hang on. Wait.
12:35Straight in there, which is good. So we are going to... Oh my God. He looks like he's absolutely
12:40hoovering. We did get told he absolutely yams his mood. You can tell he's absolutely hoovering.
12:47Look how he's eating it. Oh my God. Luckily, like I said, we've put it in a slow feeder, so
12:53it won't be too
12:53bad. And what we're going to do is once he's finished, if he cries or anything, we're going
12:57to ignore him. And then as soon as he stops crying, we'll let him out. All right. Okay. Scout.
13:02There you go, Scout. There's your privacy cones. And then Kobe and Moki get some water as well.
13:07Kobe basically gets soup because he never actually drinks water. We never see him drink water apart from
13:12with his food. Yes.
13:17And that's how you feed four dogs. Stanley has finished his lick mat. So we're just going to leave
13:24him in there, see if he cries. And if he doesn't, we'll let him out. So we're just going to
13:29wait a
13:30second. If he doesn't cry, we will let him out. There's a cry. So we're not going soon.
13:39Yes. Good boy. That was really good. He like sat there and looked at us. That was really good. Good
13:44boy. Come on then. We've put Stanley outside so that hopefully he'll go to the toilet. Neither
13:49me or Ella have literally seen him wee yet. It's like he's sniffing for a spot. Come on, Stanley.
13:55Come on, Stanley. Oh, how do you go from toilet to zoomies?
14:04Hello. Your daughter would like to come in. So after Stanley had some plays outside in the garden
14:09with his toy, it's time to start training him to relax. Okay. This one is tired. Although he
14:14doesn't see me right now, but he is tired. So we are going to test putting him in his crate
14:20for the
14:21first time. So he's, oh, his tail. Sorry, Stanley, mate. So he's got his toy in there. We are also
14:28going
14:29to open this up a little bit so that he can see us. So it will still feel like a
14:32bit of a den.
14:34And then I'm going to give him one tiny little puppy dentistry. Again, just a positive association.
14:41And you can hear him crying. So I'm going to pop that in there. I don't even think he's realized
14:46that's there, but it is. And then I'll set you guys up on a tripod whilst we eat and let's
14:51see how he does.
14:52We really want to start teaching Stanley how to relax because it's going to be so important for his
14:57future home. After fighting sleep for a little bit, he did eventually give up and he had the
15:02snooze of his life. So this is how we would get a dog to learn how to chill out. Ella's
15:09watching
15:09Netflix. Moki's chilling out. Kobe's sitting there and we can move around. But whilst he's tired,
15:15he's got his space to actually just rest, get used to us moving around. And then we will let him
15:20out
15:21once he's had his rest. This is honestly the best part of the day. The dogs are knackered.
15:29The rescue that we got is tired and resting. We're tired and we've actually finally got time
15:34to just chill out. Hopefully this evening is going to be a nice quiet one. I'm not convinced because
15:41he'll probably be a bit scared and a bit lost, but we'll see how that goes. But for now,
15:44we're going to take some well-needed rest. But how naive of me to think rest was an option with
15:50a puppy
15:51and a crazy doberman in the house. Oh my, get in!
15:58Yes, we know we need to put a rug down, but Scout has just stopped going into the toilet in
16:04here.
16:04So we need to apply another rug that this one also won't destroy. I love how our house once again
16:10is the madhouse. I've missed this madness. It's literally just a dog.
16:17Crank him. Crank him. Stuff on the sofa. Bed's there. Bed there.
16:23Right, it's come to bedtime. Standing, what's this? We want to get standing into his crate, just like that.
16:31We're putting him to bed purposefully whilst we are still down here because we want him
16:39to not be scared and we're hoping that because he knows all the other dogs in here, he will just
16:45settle.
16:45We're putting the crate like a lot more covered this time. So he's really going to feel nice and
16:51cozy in there. I'm just going to chill down here for a bit and hopefully he's going to go to
16:56sleep.
16:57What a first day. Stanley is genuinely an amazing dog and none of this is his fault. This is already
17:03his
17:04third home. He's never had the stability or guidance he needs. We know how important it is
17:09to give him that now, especially with a potential forever home by the end of this video, but we've
17:14still got a long way to go before we get there.
17:17Okay, we are going to test going upstairs with Stanley. We're going to leave this light on because
17:22we're going to come back down again at 10 o'clock. Stanley was absolutely out, but being a puppy,
17:28I needed to come down again at night to let him out for the toilet.
17:32Okay, I am making my way downstairs. It is currently 10 o'clock. Stanley has been sleeping really well,
17:41but we want to let him out and get him to go to the toilet so that he doesn't have
17:47an accident
17:47overnight. Right, so we're going to let Stanley and Kobe out. Go on, Stanley out. There he goes.
17:57Oh, there you go. I can see Stanley waiting. That's really good. Oh, Scout's really excited
18:02to see everybody. I think he's just barked at me. Well, the fact that Stanley's just had a wee
18:08should hopefully mean that we're going to have a nice quiet night. I let all the dogs back in,
18:14put Stanley in his crate. Good boy. And I'm going to give him some pets so that he gets a
18:21bit of
18:21praise. Good boy for being in there. And hopefully he's just going to go straight back to bed now.
18:28And that is all of the dogs are fully ready for bed now. They've been out. They've had their toilet.
18:35I'm praying for a peaceful night. And he was out for the entire night. We actually got a good
18:42night's rest. And this is how the next morning went. Hello, Stanley, mate. How do you want me to do?
18:51Right, Cloges just made it out. You're not going to come out if you're crying. There you go. Good boy.
19:09So we're trying not to pay him too much attention because we don't want him to think that him
19:16being down here alone last night was like a really big thing. Mokey looks like she doesn't want to get
19:21out of bed. Good morning, Mokey. Look at where it is. Good morning, Mokey. Got the Mokey out.
19:36So all the dogs went to the toilet, we fed them breakfast, played with Stanley,
19:42then put him in his crate for a nap, and then thought, I think it's about time we fix this
19:47garden.
19:47We've had this tarp down for months because it's a mud patch underneath, but we're finally going to
19:52deal with it today so that the dogs can have free roam of the entire garden. Okay, and finally,
19:58dogs have somewhat got their garden back. And whilst we're on a roll, we're also finally going to put
20:04down a rug. I know you guys have been waiting for this moment for a long time. All right, the
20:09new rug
20:10is down. Not the best looking rug, but we spent so much. I honestly think we spent like over a
20:16thousand
20:16pounds on rugs because we just keep buying them and they keep getting destroyed. And let's see
20:21what the dogs think of it. Come on, then. Come on, Stanley, look. New rug. This dog is definitely
20:27going to chew it. Yeah, what's that? New rug, Stanley. What's this? Don't chew it. Don't wheel on it
20:34either. Oh, he's very excited. No, no biting. Oh yeah, you've got grip now. You've got grip now,
20:40aren't you? Don't bite it. No, no. Right. I need to hide the label. This dog is going to keep
20:45us on our
20:45toes. That's for sure. But now it's a new day. We're going to be taking Stanley on his first ever
20:51walk with us. Okay. We are about to take Stanley on his first walk with us. We've actually got
20:59this long lead because, well, we know that he can walk outside because his previous owners did.
21:05All right. I've got the two crazy dogs. What will be really good about this is that he's going to
21:10get
21:10a lot of cues off Kobe and Moki. We have arrived at a field that we usually take the dogs
21:16to set.
21:17Stanley's going to stay on his lead because he isn't awfully trained yet, but it didn't take him long
21:21to start going nuts. Come on, Stanley. Come on. And here comes Stanley. Oh, I'm going to have to run.
21:27I'm going to have to run. He's getting so excited. Look at him. Good girl.
21:40He's going to be absolutely knackered. Here we go. Here we go.
21:55He's so confused what she's doing. And he's absolutely knackered.
21:59Stanley's having the best time. What's funny is Kobe usually hates puppies,
22:04but even he started getting involved. Come on, Kobe boy. Good boy.
22:09Good boy. Stanley's a bit unsure on him. Come on, Stanley. Come on. Let's get him. Come on, Stanley.
22:15Let's get him. Come on, Kobe. Good boy. Oh, every dog's attacking him.
22:24Stanley's like, what is going on? He doesn't know which dog to go for.
22:28I know. We're going to call the walk there. We've been out for about 20 minutes. Stanley's gone
22:32absolutely nuts. And then we will give, well, we'll put Stanley in his crate so he can have a nice,
22:37good sleep after this. I've done Stanley his lick mat. And then Ella has just reminded me that
22:42obviously I can't give it to him because he's just come back from the walk. So I'm going to get
22:45him
22:45to rest in his crate and then we'll give him the lick mat basically once he wakes up. Okay,
22:50I was about to give Stanley a licky mat, but he's absolutely exhausted. And you've got Scouty in his
22:57crate. Oh, we love you, Scout. When the dogs woke up, they went absolutely crazy in the garden. The
23:02more we see how much Stanley loves the dogs, the more we realize that we really want him to go
23:07to a home with another dog. Oh, Scout's going to get involved or get taken out. But then we realized
23:15that Stanley's crazy energy started to become a problem with our other dog, Scout. You can see
23:20Stanley thinks Scout is playing when he's actually running away in fear. We didn't want to tell Stanley
23:25off because it scares Scout. He thinks he's being told off. We'd hoped Scout would eventually tell Stanley
23:30off, but when he did, he took it too far. You can see Stanley kept trying to mount Scout and
23:39then
23:40Stanley goes behind the shed on the right. Scout comes over and I can only assume that Stanley tried
23:45to mount him again. Scout then attacks Stanley behind the shed.
23:49Stanley's way out of tailed by the day. Luckily I was downstairs so I could check on him after it
24:10happened.
24:10Check. Bless him. It's not nice hearing him cry like that. Luckily I was downstairs so I could check on
24:16him after it happened.
24:20We didn't film directly after this because we just wanted to make sure Stanley was okay.
24:25We have a doggy first aid kit so Ella went and got there and we cleaned where Stanley
24:29got bit.
24:33Luckily it didn't seem to affect him too much because this was him later that evening.
24:50So the next day we made sure to keep Scout and Stanley separated.
24:55Stanley's still going to be quite stressed from yesterday so we're giving him stuff to
24:59chew the entire day to help him de-stress and then Scout we're also going to give him something
25:04later as well to help him de-stress and make sure that these two are also separated the
25:10entire day because we don't want to repeat of what happened.
25:13So Stanley is going to be really hard to get because he doesn't stay still but he has got
25:18a little puncture wound in his ear so we're just making sure we stay on top of cleaning
25:22it and we're also going to take him to the vet just to get checked over because obviously
25:27the last thing we want is for it to get infected or anything.
25:30So a vet visit for Stanley because it's better to be safe than sorry.
25:34We are taking Stanley to the vet just to get his wound, his puncture wound checked out.
25:40He's currently chasing leaves.
25:41I think it's okay we've been using like antiseptic and stuff but obviously we just want to make
25:46sure.
25:46Come on there Stanley boy.
25:48Woah.
25:50We got to the vet and wait Stanley bearing in mind he's only three months old and he's
25:5540 pounds already he's going to be a big boy.
26:02He got checked out his ear is already healing fine and Stanley is fit and healthy really glad
26:07to hear.
26:08We felt so sorry for him after what happened so we decided to cheer him up and take him
26:13for his first ever off lead walk.
26:15Before we took him I just wanted to quickly check if he definitely had husky in him.
26:25Ok thought so, that confirms it.
26:28Right, let's let this crazy dog run free.
26:30Stanley!
26:31That's a good start.
26:33Stanley come on mate, come on.
26:34Good boy.
26:36And this is going to be Stanley's first time off the lead, go on Stanley.
26:39Oh he is just going to follow Mokey around everywhere.
26:44Come on dogs, come on.
26:45Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on Ed.
26:51He's quite quick isn't he?
26:54Oh.
26:55Kobe's going to toilet straight away.
26:57This dog followed Mokey around the entire time.
27:01She really has got the patience of her say.
27:03After some happy rolls from Kobe, we wanted to see just how brave Stanley really is.
27:08Ok, jungle gym time.
27:10How brave is Stanley going to be?
27:12I'm guessing if he sees Mokey go on it, he might.
27:14Stanley.
27:15Come on boy.
27:16Stanley come, come.
27:17Good boy.
27:19Oh he's brave, look at him.
27:20This pup really has no fear, which is why we really need to make sure he goes to a home
27:25where someone knows what they're doing.
27:27So let's go home and see where we're at with Stanley's forever home.
27:30Come on dogs, let's go down.
27:31Come on, let's go down.
27:32Come on, let's go down.
27:33Gently.
27:34So we have decided we are going to put Stanley up for adoption.
27:38We usually do it quite early just to get people's interest.
27:41But to be honest, if he can find the right owner who's had a similar high energy breed,
27:45he's probably ready to go to his forever home.
27:47And we did find someone, but it all depends on how he gets on with their dog.
27:57So this is Stanley meeting the potential adopters dog.
28:01And as you can probably tell, he's a husky mix.
28:03So we thought we couldn't have found a more perfect home for him.
28:07Stanley just needs to get on with him.
28:12No surprise here.
28:13Stanley loves him.
28:15Of course he does.
28:16You can see Stanley being a bit too overwhelming and trying to force the other dog to play.
28:20But we figured this person's had a husky since a puppy.
28:23They're not easy dogs to have.
28:25He'll know what he's doing, right?
28:26So they decided they want to adopt Stanley.
28:29I was so happy for him.
28:30I said my goodbyes and got everything ready for his new forever home.
28:34Okay.
28:35We have got Stanley's food ready for the day.
28:38We're going to give him some of his favorite toys as well.
28:41So we've got these as well.
28:45Toys.
28:45Hey, Stanley!
28:46Stanley!
28:48Stanley, come here.
28:49We're giving that to you.
28:50Get it back.
28:51Good boy.
28:51No, no.
28:52Crazy dog.
28:53And so this is the moment.
28:55Stanley is off to go and live his life.
28:57Everything seemed to be going okay at his new home.
28:59But then only two days later, he was returned to us.
29:03We've done a second channel video explaining what happened because it's a long story.
29:07Link is below to watch.
29:08So here's Stanley coming back after just two days.
29:11Now, Stanley needs to meet the dogs again.
29:13And we're back to square one.
29:15We need to find him the right forever home.
29:17And we can't afford to get it wrong this time.
29:19Look who's back!
29:24So, a nice easy reunion.
29:27Simply because obviously they're only three days out.
29:29So, we figured it'll be nice and easy for them to meet again.
29:33And it looks like it is, which is good.
29:35Stanley still looks just as submissive.
29:38Ella came back to Stanley and we had him for another ten days.
29:41Just as crazy as ever.
29:42And he'd grown so much since we first got him.
29:45Then we finally found what felt like the perfect home.
29:48He met their dog and instantly got on like a house on fire.
29:51And this time, we're happy to say it's working out brilliantly.
29:55What a journey.
29:56Stanley's only four months old and this was already his fifth home.
29:59But now, he's finally where he's meant to be.
30:02And ready to live out the rest of his life in the right home.
30:05Thank you so much for watching.
