00:43made that and then i had the opportunity john to ask him about one brandon ingram the guy that was

00:50centerpiece of this kawaii leonard trade and you know coming in there were people asking me well
00:55hey is brandon ingram gonna be ready for media for training camp i said yeah he had heel surgery
01:00in may he'll be good like don't worry about it and little did we know john that when i asked

01:06question just thinking that it's gonna be yeah he'll be good darius is good his toes are good
01:11that during that may heel procedure for brandon ingram way back in may when he was still with the
01:17toronto raptors they found a partially torn achilles tendon in there and anybody that doesn't know
01:26basketball or sports injuries that's the worst basketball injury you could possibly get if you
01:30have a torn achilles now they said that partially is much better than fully still an achilles tear
01:37still an achilles tear which means now he's probably gonna miss the start of this season we don't know how
01:43long and there's no return date set so john uh oh my gosh i this was just such a curveball

03:15this injury and surgery torn achilles are the death nail of most players careers if you're not a leaper
03:22because most leapers have more to their game you just notice the leaping or speed so when they lose that

03:35fast slow so i i think that the clippers should have avoided this trade or ask for a different
