Lindsay Clancy holdout juror makes one request after mistrial drama

Michael Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, has made his most direct public remarks following the mistrial that was declared earlier this month.

Speaking exclusively on Fox News’ “Hannity”, Desronvil shifted attention away from himself and toward the three children at the center of the case.

“I know the whole focus has been on me, but we want to reel everything back and put the focus on the three angels,” Desronvil said. “The ones that can’t speak for themselves, the ones that can’t defend themselves, and the ones that can’t fight the battles — and those are Cora, Dawson and Callan.”

He also spoke about his faith and family, saying, “I want to thank God for my Catholic faith. I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to love my daughter.”

Desronvil added, “And foremost, I would like to thank everyone, every individual, that has supported me throughout this difficult situation.”

Desronvil has faced accusations from fellow jurors over his conduct during deliberations, allegations he has denied. His attorney, Edward Paltzik, has also strongly defended him, calling the allegations false.

The case is expected to return to court for a status conference as prosecutors consider their next steps following the mistrial.
