03:34And the Minister for International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Ronald Olsi Lamola,
03:39to announce the genocide perpetrated by the state of Israel against the Palestinian people and call on the international community
03:44to put an end to this impunity.
03:48Nowhere is the need to uphold our shared humanity more urgent than in Palestine.
03:54The rights and dignity and humanity of the Palestinians cannot be treated as conditional.
04:01The state of Israel's continued violation of international and humanitarian law constitute genocide.
04:07And we remain steadfast in our view that the international community must act decisively to end this impunity.

18:39Brazil does not fit into anyone's backyard.
18:41The Trump demands ignored by Lula include unrestricted U.S. corporation access to Brazil's rare earth minerals,

18:54which to the U.S. credit card companies dismay does not impose service charges,
18:59and a commitment for Brazilian private airline companies to only purchase planes from Boeing.
19:04I believe that Lula is correct in refusing to give in to Donald Trump's demands,
19:12because accepting them would mean subordinating Brazil to a foreign power.
19:19It would violate the principle of sovereignty.
19:22On the one hand, Brazil has a president running for re-election who hasn't given in to U.S. demands.
19:27On the other, candidate Flavio Bolsonaro has spent the year promising to give in to almost all of them.
