00:22Passat-Bissessa also spoke about our responsibility as citizens, saying, quote, Republican citizenship asks something of each of us.
00:31We cannot expect integrity in public life while tolerating corruption in our own dealings or ask for safer streets while
00:38sheltering those who bring violence into our neighborhoods, end quote.
00:42She closed by urging citizens to exercise their responsibilities with courage, fairness and love for Trinidad and Tobago.
