00:22website which is completely free to use. So what you want to do is open up a new internet browser,
00:27come across to google.com and in here you just want to type audio to text. Now there's a number
00:33of different tools available but the one I would recommend is this one here which is audio to text.com
00:39so you can do this through google or just come across to audio to text.com. From here you're
00:44going to see there's an option to drop your audio video file here so this does also support like mp4
00:50and things like that as well. If you don't yet have an audio file what you can do is use
00:54the search
00:55box in your task at the bottom and if you type sound recorder you can use the inbuilt sound
01:00recorder on windows which should come up underneath best match. So if you give that a click it's going
01:05to open up sound recorder and choose this all you need to do is simply click the record button at
01:09the
01:10bottom and as you can see that's going to start recording our voice which is going to give us an
01:14audio file which we can then convert into text. So once you're finished just click on to stop recording
01:20and what that's going to do is add it to this menu on the left hand side. What you then
01:25want to do
01:25is just simply go ahead and right click onto your recording file and then click onto show in folder.
01:31So once you've done that you're going to see your recording and all you need to do is select it
01:35by
01:36clicking your mouse hold down your left mouse button and just simply drag and drop this into
01:40the box on the website. Now at this point it's going to ask you to select your language there is
01:45an auto detect feature but I always like to click this and select my language from here. Once that's
01:51done just simply click the blue start transcription button. So as you can see it's just going to take
01:55a minute or two to go through and process the audio file. Again this is 100% free there's no
02:01sign up
02:01or anything like that required and it does support short or long form recordings. After a minute or two
02:06you're going to see your text come up as you can see and what you can then do is just
02:11simply click on
02:11to download. If you want to download this onto your computer you can select the file type from here
02:17so if you want to download it as like a text or a doc file and there's some additional options
02:21as well
02:22so all you want to do is click on to download and that's going to go ahead and download that
02:26onto
02:26your computer. Alternatively you can just simply highlight the text like this right click click
02:32onto copy and then paste that wherever you need to. So that's how to transcribe audio to text for
