00:05So I'll be showing you how to save any webpage as a PDF file from your browser.
00:10Whether you want to save an article, website page, online document or important information for later,
00:15this quick guide will show you how to convert a webpage to a PDF.

00:28Now to do this, I'll be using Google Chrome,
00:30but this should be a similar process if you use a different browser as well.
00:34But what you want to do is open up your preferred internet browser
00:37and come across to the webpage that you want to convert to a PDF.
00:42Now in this example, I'm just going to go ahead and use my channel as an example.
00:46So you can see I'm here on my YouTube channel page.
00:49What you want to do when you come across to the webpage is hold down control and press P on
00:53your keyboard.
00:54What that's going to do is open up a window like this.
00:58Now from here, if you come up to the top, you can see we've got the option to save this
01:01as a PDF.
01:03So you want to click that, click on save as PDF.
01:06What you can then do is choose the layout.
01:08So you've got a choice between portrait or landscape.
01:10Sometimes landscape can work better, but this of course depends on the webpage.
01:15In this example, I'm just going to keep it set to portraits.
01:18Now, once that's done, you can click onto more settings and make some further adjustments.
01:22For example, you can change the scale to custom.
01:25You can reduce this down if it doesn't quite fit the page or something like that.
01:29So we put it down to about 50 or 60.
01:32You can see it fits nicely on the page.
01:35If there's multiple pages, you can, of course, change this as well.
01:38So where it says pages per sheet, you can change this to custom or just one page or two pages.
01:44And once you're happy with everything, just come and click save at the bottom.
01:47What you can now do is choose where you want to save this on your computer.
01:50It's going to load up your file explorer.
01:52So I'm just going to save this to my desktop and I'm going to call this example web page.
01:57Make sure save as type is selected to your PDF.
02:01And then once that's done, you can click the save button.
02:03So you'll now see if I come back to my desktop, we should have this saved on our computer.
02:09And I can double click to open this up because I use Adobe.
02:12It's going to open this up in Adobe.
02:14But you can see we've now successfully saved this webpage and converted it into a PDF.
02:19So that's how to convert webpage to a PDF.
