00:06how to convert an mp4 video file into an mp3 audio file so you can extract the audio and

00:24tech guides. Now there's actually a number of ways you can do this but what I'm going to do
00:28is show you the way that I personally convert files and that's by using a website which is
00:33completely free to use which is called Cloud Convert. So what you want to do is open up a new
00:38internet browser, come up to the address bar and just type cloudconvert.com and it's going to look
00:45like this. Now from here you can see we've got this select file button here, give that a click and
00:50that's
00:50going to open up your computer's file explorer. What we then want to do is find the mp4 file that
00:55we
00:55want to convert into an mp3 file. So I've got one of my videos here as you can see it's
01:00currently
01:00an mp4 file. All you need to do is just double click and what that's going to do is upload
01:05it
01:05to the website. You can also add additional files if you want to convert a number of files at once
01:10as
01:10well and you can see to the right of this file you can choose the format to convert this into.
01:15So if we click onto this drop down box you're going to see some formats come up and if you
01:20come
01:20click onto audio you can see we've got the mp3 file format here. What you want to do is give
01:25it
01:25a click and as you can see that's going to select it so you can see it's going to convert
01:30this from
01:30an mp4 to an mp3 file. Once that's done you can see it says one file ready just come and
01:35click the
01:35convert button down here and that's going to start to convert this file from an mp4 file to an mp3
01:41file.
01:42So it should just take a minute or two of course it does depend on the size of your mp4
01:46file but once
01:47that's done you're going to see the green download button so just give that a click that's going
01:51to download it onto your computer. What you can then do is just come to your search box type downloads
01:56to locate your downloads folder and when you click to open this you should now see your mp3 file here.
02:02So it does convert and work absolutely fine you can see if I double click it's going to start to
02:06play.
02:11And as you can see it's just literally playing the audio as mp3 is just an audio
