00:00All right, so speaking of really well, boy, the Chiefs put on that clinic on Monday Night Football with the
00:05debut of Kenneth Walker in a Chiefs uniform, and he delivered 175 yards, one of the biggest games of his
00:13career.
00:13Going up against the Indianapolis Colts, who started off the season 0-1, Joe, they had that magic last year,
00:19the Colts.
00:19Remember, they got off to that tremendous start before they lost Daniel Jones, and there's been a big odds move
00:27here in this one, making Kansas City such a big favorite in this game on Sunday.
00:32Again, not all these favorites are going to cover.
00:33There are going to be some teams that are going to go on the road this week, cover the big
00:37number, and win outright.
00:38It happens every week in the National Football League.
00:40Is this the spot that the Colts come alive here?
00:44It's sort of really hard to envision just because they don't have the dynamic offense, and all of a sudden,
00:50it does seem like the Chiefs are going to win in different ways this year.
00:54It does certainly feel that way, and I think the biggest takeaway is Eric Bien-Ami's play calling and offense
01:00is in a different planet than what they had with Matt Nagy the last couple years.
01:04They looked excited.
01:06They looked sharp.
01:07They looked like they were having fun out there.
01:08They looked like they were being creative again.
01:10Again, the Chiefs last couple years was kind of a slog, even though they were winning games and sometimes even
01:15getting the Super Bowls.
01:16It just wasn't the Chiefs that we had seen years ago, and once Eric Bien-Ami came back and is
01:21calling the plays now again, oh, my God, what a difference it makes.
01:25Ken Walker, obviously, today is a heavy minus favorite to score a touchdown.
01:29Of course, you think he is because of what you saw last week.
01:31So instead, let's chop it in half.
01:34First-half touchdown score for Ken Walker, plus 130.
01:37How can we not get a Kenneth Walker touchdown, it feels like, in the first half of this game?
01:41It seems like almost an impossibility.
01:43So I would be looking for that as an investment in this contest.
01:46You want to see this Chiefs team continue to run through Ken Walker.
01:51I know we're looking at 90-plus yards for plus 134.
01:54That's not terrible either.
01:55But you're right.
01:56It does feel like the Colts are staring 0-2 in the face, not the way you start off a
02:01season.
02:02And it looks like a Chiefs team that everybody thought was going to be rebuilding and retooling.
02:06Well, guess what?
02:07Turns out, maybe not so much.
02:09Maybe they got the running back they needed, Mahomes is healthy, and now we're just going to get back to
02:13being the Chiefs at the top of this division,
02:15especially after the Chargers showing in that first week.
02:17So interesting to see what carries over from last week to this for the Chiefs, but certainly a great start
02:22to the season for Kansas City.
02:24Definitely so.
02:25And again, the Colts are smart like every team in the NFL, and now they have the video, and now
02:29they know what the Chiefs want to do,
02:31which is not what Denver figured they were going to do in week one.
02:34So we'll see if teams can adjust to this new Chiefs era of running the football quite a bit.
