00:00Okay, so the Commanders take on the Dallas Cowboys here in a game that hopefully everyone out there learned their
00:08lesson this week.
00:09But if they need to, they're going to learn it again this week.
00:11With the Dallas Cowboys, once again, somehow being a favorite in the National Football League.
00:16It's the gift that just keeps on giving.
00:19Dallas might as four and a half against the Washington Commanders, Joe, here.
00:24I don't know what to tell you here.
00:26I mean, the Cowboys don't cover when they are favorites.
00:29Now, when they're dogs or it's close, yeah, I mean, it's pretty good.
00:32Joe, do you want to dip your toe into the water here with Dallas again?
00:35Minus four and a half at home against Washington.
00:39Because we will be back here next week.
00:41And I will be reminding you when Washington beats Dallas outright and go, what the heck?
00:45The Cowboys are 0-2.
00:47Oh, you mean like the last 10 years where they start off like 1-3, 0-2 every single year?
00:51I don't understand why people don't learn their lesson with Dallas, Joe.
00:56I mean, they look great on paper and they have a nice stadium and the uniforms look fantastic.
01:01But it just hasn't worked out like in 25 years.
01:04Well, why is it going to be any different this year?
01:06Well, historically, I've been on the same page as you.
01:08This year, I was looking at the paper of the defense and I thought they were improved.
01:12I thought they did a good job in the draft.
01:13I like the pieces they brought in last year.
01:15But they were not on the field.
01:17I mean, they literally, last week, the Giants were in the same place three times in a row on them.
01:21It was just appalling where they were defensively.
01:24So, yeah, very frustrating as somebody who never buys the Cowboys hype, always fazes them.
01:29And this year, I was thinking, you know what?
01:30NFC is a little more wide open.
01:31I think that people realize.
01:32I'm coming back around to the Seahawks potentially being that team again.
01:36Because that defense is the best in football.
01:38I don't want to hear anybody tell me any differently.
01:40That defense was so good last week.
01:42It was so good last year.
01:43And they play with a chip on their shoulder like no one else thinks they're any good.
01:46And you know what?
01:48You should be scared.
01:49The rest of the league should be scared.
01:50But going back to the Cowboys, I mentioned at the top of this show, too, about four outcome games.
01:54This certainly has four outcomes written all over it, too.
01:57You've got an in-division game.
01:58These things can always go sideways.
02:00You've got the commanders going on the road.
02:01They've got their own issues to deal with, too.
02:03They're missing some pieces in this game.
02:05You've got the Cowboys with all the pressure now on them, too.
02:08George Pickens was, like, you know, putting out, like, a missing persons alert for him last week.
02:12Where was he in this game?
02:14The big touchdown CeeDee Lamb have was clearly a push-off last week, too.
02:17Nothing looked good for the Cowboys last week.
02:20But you're the only solace.
02:22In week two, a lot of things that looked horrible all of a sudden don't show up again.
02:26And all of a sudden, week two is a totally different story.
02:28We could see a lot of different things.
02:30I want nothing to do with this game.
02:33Watch it.
02:34Enjoy it.
02:34If you can, everybody, in terms of investing in it, good luck.
02:38I think it is nearly impossible to figure out which way this game is going.
02:41Yeah, I just, I'm never going to take Dallas as a favorite ever.
02:45And so it's not that I'll even take Washington here.
02:47I just definitely will stay away anytime Dallas.
02:49Give me, when Dallas is in Buffalo at some point this season, and they're getting their seven,
02:53yes, that's when the close game comes in, and they almost win, and Dallas is like,
02:56oh, they're good.
