00:30Ugandan people around me. Apart from my boyfriend. But he's the person that like
00:36girl just learn proper Luganda before you talk to me. And then Tandem came around.
00:43Tandem is an app where you can connect with people all around the world. And
00:48you can learn each other's languages. You can log in to the app, say which language
00:55is your mother language. And which language do you want to learn. And then
01:00you get connected to someone. Or actually multiple people. In the settings you can
01:06also choose the right person to talk to. Because since it's not a dating app you
01:14can also choose to talk only to people from your own gender. If you are like no I
01:20don't want any person to disturb me. Then you can also say I only want to talk with
01:28people of my own gender. Of course since it's a talking app. Since you can send
01:35videos and voice notes to each other. Things can happen and it's not a crime if
01:41there will become some love. But that is not the purpose of this app. So be aware.

02:57can just learn it in your pyjama. And to be honest that's my favorite part. Learning
03:03things in my pyjama. In the community you can see who wants to learn your language. Or
03:09who are in your neighborhood. Because you can't not only search for your language. You
03:14can also search for your neighborhood. Now at this moment there are not that many
03:18people in the Netherlands who speak Luganda who wants to learn Dutch. But since I also put
03:24that I can speak English quite okay. I got also a lot of connections with people from
03:29Uganda who wants to learn better English. So you can search for on location. Or you can
03:36search worldwide. And that makes it even more fun. Because you can meet people all around
03:41the world. And that's something that really excites me. Once you find someone that you think
03:46this is a nice person. You can click on them. And send a message. Of course you can also
03:52start already video or audio calling. But to be honest I wouldn't do that right away.
03:58I will just send them a message. And the good thing is like I mentioned before. You can
