A car bearing the Prisons Department logo was seen entering former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s residence in Jalan Langgak Duta, Kuala Lumpur, on Saturday (Sept 19) morning.

It is believed the personnel are from the Prisons Department and had arrived to conduct an assessment of the residence ahead of Najib’s release to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.

00:14carrying at least four personnel, arrived at around 9.45am. The personnel are believed to
00:21be from the Prisons Department and are understood to have arrived to assess the residence ahead of
00:26Najib, serving the remainder of his sentence under house arrest. On Friday, Najib was granted a
00:32conditional pardon, allowing him to serve the remainder of his prison sentence under house
00:37arrest until August 23, 2028. The decision was made during the 64th meeting of the Federal
00:45Territories Pardons Board, chaired by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.
