00:34He stressed, however, that the mobile police station is not intended to provide 24-hour security for Najib.
00:41The deployment is mainly to ensure security during the process of transferring him from prison to the residence.

00:56later withdrawn and will be redeployed at 7 a.m. on Monday.
01:01However, police have yet to confirm whether Najib will be brought to the residence on Monday to serve his house

01:08ACP Anwar also said he could not confirm whether the Jalan Langak Dutta residence had been designated as the location
01:17for Najib's house arrest, as he had not received any official documents.
01:22He said the monitoring of Najib, should he serve his sentence under house arrest, is understood to fall under the
01:29prison's department, while police will facilitate his movement and ensure security during the transfer.
01:36The residents drew attention on Saturday, following the arrival of several prison's department and police personnel who were believed to
01:44be conducting technical assessments and security checks.
01:48Najib was granted a conditional pardon by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, allowing him to serve the remainder
01:56of his sentence under house arrest until August 23, 2028, subject to payment of a RM50 million fine.
