00:02Alan Jones has been accused of assaulting a prominent athlete,
00:05complainant M, in a room full of people in 2015.
00:08An allegation Alan Jones says couldn't have happened.
00:12The broadcaster's lawyers have cross-examined M for a second day,
00:16using dozens of photos of the event to suggest Mr Jones was not nearby at the time.
00:22I know the kiss happened because I can't get it out of my memory, the complainant said.
00:26What I do know and what I have been able to say very clearly, I know.
00:30What I may not be able to give is who was sitting at my table, what direction I was facing.
00:35Mr Jones texted M later that night, saying he hoped the athlete could feel his kisses,
00:41but the defence says that's just how their client speaks.
00:44A later message from another day, reading,
00:47Feel my kisses, darling, all over.
00:49He hadn't kissed you that day? No.
00:51You hadn't even seen each other, had you? No.
00:54M accepts he maintained text contact with Mr Jones,
00:58at one point sending him a topless picture he'd just had taken in a photo shoot.
01:03He previously told the court his best recollection is the second alleged kiss
01:08happened on the evening of 19 March 2020 at his Macquarie Street apartment.
01:13Mr Jones' defence presented photos showing the broadcaster on air
01:17from Fitzroy Falls that morning in COVID isolation.
01:21I suggest you don't know when you saw him at Macquarie Street.
01:24I'm not 100% certain of the date.
01:28Complainant M snapped back at times under repeated accusations from Alan Jones' lawyers
01:33that the assaults didn't happen.
01:35He maintains he's unsure of the date, but says he's had time to replay the memories,
01:40and they are still clear.
01:42He'll be back for re-examination tomorrow.
01:44All right.
