00:15London not much to really report because they didn't even wear helmets they're pretty much

00:27I guess I want to put week one to bed with you right now as a as a former player
00:34you get 24 hours
00:36but we're media we can still talk a little storylines here and there let's put week one
00:41to bed before we talk about what storylines you're writing about the most or looking forward to
00:46writing about the most going into LA two guys who played near flawless football on Monday night
00:52Jackson Dart very impressive and the rookie CeCe Maunoa and that offensive line will give the
01:02Giants a chance against that Rams defensive line with the return likely of Aaron Donald the great
01:12future Hall of Famer who hasn't played in over two years making his comeback if he does play it'll
01:20juice the crowd up it'll be an emotional boost for the Rams who certainly need one after their
01:25performance in Australia against the 49ers so uh look if you're a Giant fan you've got to be happy
01:33that you've got the right coach and it looks like you've got the right quarterback and if you've got
01:40the coach and the quarterback you're in business the Giants the NFC East is wide open in my opinion
01:47I know it's early but the Eagles just lost Landon Dickerson they're they're all pro guard pro bowl guard
01:55and the commanders lost Tunsell Laramie Tunsell so it's a week-to-week league but the Giants right now
02:04Giant fans right now have every reason to believe that their team will be in the hunt week one now
02:10it put
02:11it away put it away no more retweets no more no more talking about the Cowboys it's on to talking
02:17about the Rams and you kind of teased a little bit where we're going next uh Aaron Donald more than
02:24likely will play this game and he'll probably get the reception that Odell Beckham Jr. got when he was
02:31called his name was called as a starter or you know his name was announced uh uh when the player
02:36player intros you're writing about Donald but let's first let's let's hear what Jackson Dart said
02:42post game about facing future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald I mean for the longest time that I can
02:49remember he's one of the most dominant players I've I've seen watch or that I've watched so um getting
02:54the chance to go out there and compete against him um it's gonna be really cool just to be you
02:59know on the
02:59same field with him and um he's a great player and you know I've heard you know that he's kept
03:04himself in really good shape so um it's gonna be a great competition he's gonna be a Hall of Famer
03:10I mean I think the numbers itself speak speaks for itself but the the real impact on the game from
03:19just a game plan standpoint um you know there's countless clips of you know putting three offensive
03:26linemen on him and still being able to make a play so he's an unbelievable player and has had an
03:31unbelievable career he knows who that guy is everyone in football knows who this guy is uh
03:37is this your number one storyline going into week two against the Rams well today it is uh I'm writing
03:44about Aaron dot facing Aaron Donald and the Giants offensive line uh is looking forward to the matchup
03:51uh for them it's you know some of them have played against him the uh as younger players now this
03:58Giants offensive line except for CeCe Maunoa they've played together they've got chemistry and
04:03cohesiveness so they're not going to be awed by the prospect of future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald
04:11likely making his debut and fortunately for the Giants and for Dart and for Cam Scadaboo and for
04:19and everybody in the starting lineup Miles Garrett will not be available they'll miss Miles Garrett he's
04:27on IR with a knee so and look Donald I expect will be on a pitch count if in fact
04:34he plays so
04:36the Giants will try to impose their will on whomever is in their way that's the way this team is
04:44built
04:44that's the way this team believes smash mouth ground and pound to ease the burden on Jackson Dart
04:51and Dart himself of course is part of that smash mouth attack so it should be a great game um
04:59the Rams
04:59are going to be probably a little bit angry but everybody's got to play until they got punched
05:06punched in the mouth right and the Giants plan on punching the Rams in the mouth so from what you
05:11saw
05:11from how the Giants played against the Cowboys front seven how the Rams front seven played against the
05:1749ers would you say the Giants offensive line versus the Rams defensive line is a favorable matchup for
05:25who I think it's probably a push the Rams have a tremendous defensive line even without Miles Garrett
05:36but I think the matchup edge will go to the Giant defensive line and they better get after Matthew
05:45Stafford because Matthew Stafford gets to throw to Puka Nakua and Devante Adams and Kyron Williams out
05:54of the backfield Blake Corum out of the backfield the Giants need to pressure Matthew Stafford even more
06:01than they pressured Dak Prescott on Monday night let's go into the coaching the head coaching matchup
06:06that we're about to see two future Hall of Fame coaches in my opinion two Super Bowl winning coaches
06:12who has the edge in the play calling or just the overall game management aspect of calling this
06:20football game the Rams with Sean McVay or the new Giants under John Harbaugh well it's hard to
06:28find a better play caller than Sean McVay as great a coach as Harbaugh is and as great a job
06:37as
06:37Harbaugh and Jackson Dart say that Matt Nagy did Monday night and he did I have to give the edge
06:47to
06:47Sean McVay he's established he's a Super Bowl winner been to the Super Bowl lost to Bill Belichick and
06:54had an awful Super Bowl but I think around the league you'd be hard-pressed to pick a better play
07:03caller than Sean McVay with the possible exception of Ben Johnson with the Bears and Liam Cohn with the
07:10Jaguars to name two so I I'll give the edge to Sean McVay there final thought because we got a
07:16lot
07:16of time until Monday night leave us with some Serbies words of wisdom give us a storyline that you feel

07:23though no one's really looking at that they should be paying attention to going into this Monday night
07:28football matchup I think the energy that Cam Scadaboo provides on the field for his offensive line I
07:38spoke to a one or two of them offensive linemen today and they say what they've said all along
07:45it's infectious it's contagious and with Pat Ricard leading the way there's an element of physicality
07:53that John Harbaugh loves with his that he has brought from Baltimore to the Giants he doesn't
08:02have Derrick Henry but he's got running back by committee and an offensive line that loves
08:08leading the way for Cam Scadaboo so can you finish this off with a woo woo there we go there
