00:00Well, an early English by-election this week, revealing again the true state of politics
00:06in this country. And right now you're seeing the government colliding with reality that
00:12you're seeing under this Labour government, UK borrowing costs hitting their highest level
00:17since 2007. Taxes just going higher and higher and higher. Well, you can see the end outcome
00:23here. I believe this is the third biggest taxpayer in this country, Chris Rocos, who paid £330
00:31million in tax last year. He's leaving the country. And meanwhile, the state of the public finances
00:37under Andy Burnham are becoming increasingly dire already. Huge spending commitments,
00:44very few answers as to how anything is going to be paid for by this government. And you can see
00:49now
00:50a serious deterioration in the public finances. £10 billion, black hole, I'm sure that's going
00:57to grow and grow. And a warning there that the market now suspects this is a traditional tax
01:03and spend socialist government. And you only have to look at the recent youth unemployment statistics
01:11to look at what a disgusting state the country's in. You can see here the unemployment rate for
01:17young people up to over 16% now. And this brings us to a by-election this week. And, you
01:25know,
01:26vague talk again, isn't there, of Labour recovery, of a Conservative recovery, of reform struggling.
01:32Well, look, you can't see it on display here, can you? Nearly 50% of the vote for reform in
01:38this
01:38by-election. The Conservatives, as they are pretty much everywhere, there are a few places where the
01:44Tories are still strong, but pretty much everywhere they're collapsing. No evidence of a burn and
01:48bounce there either. And that is another reform gain from the Conservatives. Now, interestingly
01:53enough, that ward was actually in, I believe, Robert Jenrick's constituency. So a key test there,
02:01revealing once again on the ground when it comes to actual votes, the direction of travel. But yeah,
