00:14Martin Lloyd, who is 39, of no fixed address, was convicted of three counts of rape,
00:20two counts of causing actual bodily harm, and controlling and coercive behavior.
00:25Birmingham Crown Court heard he attacked the woman, sometimes using weapons.
00:31Police said she eventually escaped and reported the abuse last October.
00:35Lloyd was also given six years on extended license.
00:39Officers praised the woman's bravery in coming forward and said she still receives support.
