00:09Kingsmen skipper Rahman Powell knows the Tridents are strong opponents, but he says his side is ready for the challenges

00:16It's a team that have beaten us two times, two times this season.
00:21Unfortunately for us, all the teams that are left in the competition are teams we haven't beaten all season.
00:26So as a team, we have to go places where we haven't been all season.
00:30So it's an opportunity for us to rise up against all that odds that is standing in our way.
00:36Can Kingsmen all-rounder Andre Russell make an impact in the playoffs?
00:40In this year's CPL, Russell hit a half century, plus he grabbed 10 wickets from seven games.
00:47As such, Powell knows having Dre Russ is very crucial.
00:50Yeah, it's always good. You know the experience, the quality that he comes with.
00:54And any teams he plays for, you know, it's always a beneficial factor.
00:59You know, Andre is someone that we can't replace, especially in CPL.
01:03So it's good to have him back. It's good to have him back firing.
01:06Barbados Tridents captain Chris Green was pleased his side bounced back at home after two wins and three losses on
01:13the road.
01:13He's hoping for that same fight from his men moving forward.
01:16We didn't play some good cricket at times and it cost us games while we were away.
01:20But in coming home to Barbados, we've really turned up with that sense of purpose, sense of direction and urgency
01:26and determination.
01:27And those characteristics are all we need for our game tomorrow night.
01:32And it's what you're going to need to go a long way in these finals.
01:35At the same time, Green has utmost respect for the Kingsmen who finished fourth on the table.
01:41Despite beating the Jamaica franchise twice, he knows what the opposition is capable of doing.
01:46The challenge is going to be tough. Like I said, they've got some great players, some dangerous players.
01:51I think for us winning the close game and winning those close moments, beating them twice,
01:56it gives us a huge amount of confidence that we can take with us.
01:59But with confidence, it's important not to get too far ahead because obviously those two wins gives them a lot
02:05of motivation to try and knock us off.
02:07Knock us off at home, silence the crowd, all those things you try and do when you play cricket away
02:12from home.
02:12The winner goes into another playoff match on Friday while the loser has to say goodbye to the tournament.
