00:00I'm so happy to talk to you. I've been a fan since Unreal, so I love seeing the journey this
00:04year with the nomination.
00:07I'm curious, you know, I feel like Unreal was like a sleeper hit, and you've been on other biggers.
00:11You know, how did it feel with Love Story, just the fandom around it?
00:14Incredible. I mean, that's like, that's stuff no one can predict.
00:18And I felt, you know, that we were very, you know, it's a tough thing to go back and retell,
00:29right?
00:29Everybody has their version. Everybody knows, you know, all of us that grew up with them have their own stories
00:35and their own way that they perceive stuff.
00:37So for me, that this was specifically based on Elizabeth Beller's book, and that it was Carolyn Bessette's point of
00:44view, to me, felt very important.
00:47Because there's so many women's stories that we don't know, and this is a very important one to tell.
00:54So I feel so grateful, you know, to have been a part of that side of the story.
00:59And you told one of our writers just about the need for more stories for women over 50, like in
01:04Hollywood.
01:05Do you feel hopeful that that will happen?
01:08I would like to say yes. I have to be hopeful.
01:12Look at how many amazing actors are out of work that are over 50 and they're women.
01:19That's not okay.
01:21Like, I'm just, I'm a better actor than I am now than I was five years ago.
01:27And so if you want to judge anything, judge the fact that I'm bringing it more than I've ever brought
01:32it.
01:33So then you guys need to bring it too.
01:35Yeah.
01:36Are the scripts coming?
01:38No.
01:39Scripts are not coming.
01:40The opportunities are not there.
01:43And, you know, I just think that has to change.
01:46Like, there is 70% of the female, yes, of the female nominees were women over 45.
01:5770%, okay?
02:00So we're doing something right and we need to show those stories.
02:04Yeah.
02:05Love story absolutely did something right too, of course, yes.
02:08And, you know, Sarah Pidgeon gave her sort of, not even prediction, what she would like to see if the
02:14story continued,
02:15which would be Patti Smith and I think Robert Maberthorpe.
02:18Okay.
02:20Do you have a couple whose love story?
02:22I mean, that I would love to see because that is a heartbreaking story.
02:27But it's such a deep, deep love that you want to watch that.
02:33You know, a really hard love story are the ones that don't last.
02:37But also like Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
02:40I mean, how many times did they get married?
02:42I want to see what was happening between those marriages.
02:45So that too would be fascinating.
02:48Yeah.
02:48Yeah.
02:48But last question, plans, after party plans, what are you feeling for?
02:52Yes.
02:53Go to all of them.
02:54Just go to all of them.
02:55Party with your friends.
02:56Celebrate.
02:57This is like a time when you don't have to worry.
03:01Right?
03:02Just, we're all in this moment.
03:04Like, let's just all be in this moment.
