00:00But first I need to know, are you responsible for Celine Dion's concert looks this weekend?
00:04I am not. I am not. She looks incredible and she's back with her original stylist from 30 years ago,
00:13Annie Horth.
00:14And what they're doing in Paris is incredible.
00:18I cannot wait to get there to kiss her on the cheek and to see her sing again.
00:24I saw on the Twitter timeline, people are wanting you to get your hands on Mariah Carey again.
00:29You know what? Mariah was one of my favorite clients. I love Mariah. I love everything about Mariah.
00:36And yeah, I mean, if she calls, I'll definitely answer. Yeah.
00:40Tell us about Project Runway. How are you enjoying your time?
00:43I love it. How are you enjoying my time on the show?
00:46The clips are everything.
00:51What's the tyrant situation?
00:53There's no tyrant situation at all.
00:55I think what I bring to the show is, you know, I'm not afraid to disagree with, you know, with
01:04the judges.
01:05And I think that it's a forum, right?
01:07And it's there because we all bring something to it and we all bring different opinions.
01:11And if someone's opinion differs from mine, then, you know, I say that and vice versa.
01:15You know, I've had fights with Heidi. I've had fights with Nina.
01:20Everyone, you know, for me, you know, anybody can get the smoke.
01:25But you're also very encouraging to the contestants.
01:27Yeah, and I wish people, you know, I think people love to talk about when the criticism is harsh.
01:32But nobody ever talks about when it's positive and when it's...
01:37But that's the only thing.
01:38I'm there to just give real-world advice because I know what this industry is looking for.
01:44And it'll be doing them a disservice if I didn't push them anyway, you know.
01:49And iron sharpens iron, right?
01:52Well, last question.
01:53I want to know, do you have thoughts on Met Gala, the theme going away, and maybe where they should
01:59take it?
02:00You know what, I think we lost an icon today, and I would love to see, you know, Bob Mackie
02:05immortalized with a Met Gala theme, you know.
02:11Yeah, I think, yeah, I would love to see that.
02:13I mean, he was one of the most incredible designers, you know, in America to ever live.
02:18So, I would love to see that happen.
02:20How did he inspire you?
02:23Actually, in these last few years, he's actually been, become a mentor and a godfather to me.
02:28So, I spent a lot of, I was very fortunate to spend a lot of time with Bob these last
02:32few years.
02:32We have beautiful photos together and conversations, and I've been able to ask him every question I ever wanted to
02:40know about his work.
02:41And it's just been great.
02:43It's been absolutely great.
02:45Can you share one of those questions?
02:47You know what, one of the biggest questions I asked him because he did, when he was doing a Carol
02:51Burnett show,
02:53there was so many costumes, he dressed so many people, and he told me a little secret of how he
02:58got all that work done.
02:59Because that was a weekly show, so the turnaround was quick.
03:02So, that was one of my first questions, like, how did you do it all?
03:05And he told me a secret.
03:07Would you be open to doing a show?
03:08Yeah, for sure, absolutely.
03:10Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:11Anyone in mind?
03:12Like, what type of show?
03:14Comedy, drama.
03:16I mean, yeah, you know, I do concerts.
03:19You know, I'm in a place where I want to try everything, you know?
03:21Okay, yeah.
03:22Yeah.
