00:00Hello my dear brothers and sisters, may the peace of the Lord Jesus be upon each of you
00:05and upon your family as well. Amen.
00:09I am Pastor Antonio Jr. and I'm here to share something that God placed on my heart.
00:15I know that many of you arrive here tired but mostly frustrated.
00:20It seems like nothing has been working out lately.
00:23It seems like you try knocking on a door and the door doesn't open,
00:27you try another path and it seems that doesn't work out either.
00:31But let me tell you something that I've learned along my journey.
00:34It is in the moment of greatest frustration that the greatest revelation from God comes into your life. Amen.
00:41When we read in the gospel, the disciples had tried to catch fish all night long and didn't catch a
00:48single fish.
00:49Despite their experience, they were professional fishermen but they were completely frustrated
00:54because they came to the conclusion that there were no fish here.
00:59But early in the morning, while Jesus was teaching the crowd, Jesus said to Peter,
01:04Peter, go out into deeper waters, cast the net there and you will see what will happen.
01:10And Peter countered, he said, Jesus, but we tried to catch fish, there are no fish here,
01:17we tried all night and caught nothing.
01:19But since it is you who are speaking, we will cast the nets.
01:24And when they cast the nets, brothers, they had to call the other boat,
01:28because it was a miraculous catch, they caught so many fish that the nets were about to tear.
01:35So brothers, let me tell you something.
01:37It is precisely in your greatest frustration that you must open your ears,
01:42your spiritual eyes, because God wants to speak to you.
01:46Hallelujah.
01:46I know there are people here who need an answer, who need a word.
01:51And today, I want to share something that deeply touched my heart.
01:55I am sure it will bring you encouragement.
01:58Amen?
01:59Brothers, I want to read a passage with you from Psalm 38,
02:03written by David during a time of great affliction he was going through.
02:07Look at what is written.
02:10My guilt overwhelms me.
02:12It is like a burden too heavy to bear.
02:14My wounds faster and are loathsome because of my foolishness.
02:19I am bowed down and brought very low.
02:22All day long I go about mourning and
02:25burning with fever.
02:29My whole body is diseased.
02:31I feel feeble and utterly crushed.
02:34My heart groans in anguish.
02:37Look at this, brothers.
02:38Here we see David, who was a man after God's own heart, going through great afflictions.
02:44This shows me one thing.
02:46It doesn't matter if we have a lot of faith.
02:48It doesn't matter if we are already walking with God and know the Lord.
02:52For so many years, all of us will go through moments of affliction.
02:57And the question is, when we are going through this struggle, through this very difficult moment,
03:02how will we react?
03:05Here we see David opening his heart before the Lord and saying,
03:09God, I can't take it anymore.
03:12My heart is hurting, wounded.
03:15And if you keep reading this psalm, you will see that it is because people abandoned him.
03:20His own friends abandoned him.
03:23No one stayed close to him in his moment of difficulty.
03:26But David also said that he was physically ill and he was full of wounds all over his body.
03:33They smelled bad.
03:34He was.
03:35Bowed down.
03:36Greatly cast down.
03:38Pacing from side to side and just weeping.
03:41That was David.
03:42Often we have that view that the great men of God of the past,
03:47they had a victorious life all the time.
03:49And it wasn't like that.
03:51David was a man who pleased God very much.
03:54But he was a man deeply rejected by people.
03:57He was heavily criticized and all because the devil was furious with David.
04:03David exuded the sweet aroma of Christ.
04:06He was a worshiper.
04:08Yet at the same time, the devil used people to put him down.
04:11And here we will see in this psalm that people wanted to kill David.
04:16They laid traps for him.
04:18Here in verse 12, David says,
04:20Lord, people want to harm me.
04:23They proclaim my ruin and I become like a deaf man, as if I were not hearing and like a
04:29mute.
04:30I do not open my mouth.
04:32I simply wait on you and believe that you will answer me.
04:35Amen.
04:36Look at these brothers, how David reacted, even in the face of accusations,
04:41even in the face of the devil's insults, using people's mouths, David chose to remain silent.
04:48He did not talk back.
04:50He did not pay them back in kind.
04:52But he waited on God for his answer, for his protection.
04:57Amen.
04:58I know there are people here listening to me, who are being insulted by others, being humiliated, slandered.
05:04Brother, do not do anything.
05:06Trust in the Lord.
05:08Do not try to act in your own strength, by your own sense of justice.
05:12Amen.
05:13Have you noticed, brothers, how much the enemy uses people to bring us down?
05:18I was reminded here of the example of Joseph.
05:21Joseph received a dream from God, that one day his whole family would need his help.
05:26And he would be able to assist his household.
05:29But that dream, which should have caused feelings of gratitude and joy in his family, had the opposite effect.
05:36His brothers began to hate him because of it.
05:39They were jealous of Joseph.
05:41And then, the Bible says that when Joseph was going to take food to his brothers, his brothers said,
05:48Hey, look, here comes that dreamer.
05:50The one who dreams God's dreams.
05:53That one.
05:54And they began to mock him, calling him a dreamer.
05:57I know there are people here listening to me, who are going through the same thing.
06:02It seems like nobody gives you credit.
06:04Nobody believes in you.
06:05They just think you have your head in the clouds.
06:08That you don't grasp the reality around you.
06:11But that's not it.
06:12It's just that, when we have dreams from God in our hearts, brothers, we don't live by what makes sense.
06:19We don't look at circumstances.
06:21We are people of faith who believe in the impossible.
06:24Amen.
06:25And even if people don't want to believe, that's their problem.
06:28We are going to keep on believing.
06:30And I'm here today, speaking to you, to millions of people, because one day, God placed dreams in my heart.
06:38And I believed in them, despite the circumstances, even when people mocked me.
06:43Because I went through that too.
06:45But God was faithful, and He has been fulfilling His promises.
06:49Amen.
06:49And the Bible also tells me about David.
06:52David, there was a day when David also went to take food to his brothers.
06:57And you know what his brother said?
06:59David, you have a bad heart.
07:01Your heart is wicked.
07:02What are you doing here?
07:04And David did absolutely nothing at that moment.
07:07He didn't retort.
07:09He just wanted to know why the crowd was gathered around his brothers.
07:13And then, one of the people nearby said,
07:15David, do you know what's happening?
07:17It's just that there's a giant nearby, who comes every day to defy the army of Israel.
07:23And the army of Israel is scared to death of this giant.
07:26And it was at that moment, brothers, that David stepped up to fight the giant Goliath.
07:31And God, from that point on, you already know the story.
07:35God gave the victory to David.
07:37But what is interesting is that David's brothers said that his heart was wicked.
07:43Look at how cunning the devil is, brothers.
07:45Because God had already said through the prophet Samuel that David was a man after God's own heart.
07:52David's heart was pure.
07:54It was a heart willing to obey the Lord.
07:57But the devil knew that.
07:58And the devil wanted to bring an accusation.
08:01He wanted David to forget the Lord's promises.
08:04He says, I know you're listening to me here.
08:07You also have a heart that loves God, that longs to be with Him.
08:11But stay alert, because the devil will use people to try to take away your essence,
08:17to steal your peace, your identity.
08:20Don't let that happen, alright?
08:23So here David, he said, look God, people want to kill me, they are setting traps,
08:29they want to harm me, but my eyes are fixed on you, Lord.
08:34I only want the Lord to teach me the lessons I need to learn in this desert.
08:39In the same way, you also have to have an open heart to learn God's lessons.
08:44Amen?
08:46And I just want to read one more verse before we pray.
08:51It's right here in Psalm 119, verse 67.
08:56Look at what David says after having gone through all the wildernesses of his life.
09:01Look at what he said.
09:03Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I obey your word.
09:08Lord, you are good, and what you do is good.
09:12Teach me your ways, because the arrogant have smeared my name with lies,
09:17but I keep obeying you with all my heart.
09:22Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law.
09:27It was good for me to be afflicted, so that I might learn your decrees.
09:32Amen?
09:33Look how beautiful this is, brothers.
09:35Here David said, look, it was worth it.
09:38I learned in the wilderness to obey the Lord.
09:41I learned that it is in the moment of greatest struggle that God teaches me the greatest lessons.
09:47And he said the following,
09:49If I hadn't been punished, mocked, humiliated by people,
09:53today I wouldn't be walking in the ways of the Lord.
09:57Before I used to go astray, wandering away,
10:00but now I stand firm, like a rock in the presence of God.
10:05Amen?
10:06Brothers, I am fully convinced that both you and I will only stand firm with the Lord
10:11until the last day of our lives, if it is also through trials, through many hardships.
10:18Because Jesus himself said, we must carry our cross.
10:22We must deny ourselves if we want to be his disciples.
10:27Amen?
10:27So keep obeying God, do not act according to the flesh, act in obedience to the Lord,
10:33and he will always guarantee your victory.
10:36He will always be your protector in the face of all adversity,
10:41and people will have to come to the conclusion that God is with you.
10:45They will have to acknowledge that God is the one who defends you.
10:49He is the one who helps you endure all hardships.
10:52And you know what brothers, the greatest testimony we give is not when everything is going well,
10:58when it seems that everything works out,
11:01but the greatest testimony is when, even when things are tough,
11:06you remain faithful, you keep seeking God with hope in Him.
11:10Amen?
11:12We need to get rid of this idea people have that the Christian life is only about victory,
11:17where everything works out.
11:19Not always brothers.
11:20Many times we will experience God's silence.
11:24Many times we will be misunderstood by people.
11:27We also won't understand what God has in store for us.
11:31But that's okay.
11:33Let's keep being faithful and obedient, loving the Lord.
11:36Amen?
11:37Let's pray.
11:38Close your eyes.
11:40Lord, my God and my Father, I want to thank you for another day.
11:44I want to thank you for your faithfulness and for your word.
11:48Amen?
11:48My God, these words spoke powerfully to us today.
11:53Father, often we are like David.
11:55We are seeking our soul, seeking our body, but our eyes are fixed on you.
12:01Oh my God, people have been trying to come against us.
12:05It seems they want our ruin, our downfall, but I believe that today you guarantee the victory.
12:12Today you take us by the hand.
12:14Today you give us strength.
12:16The strength we need so much to move forward.
12:19Oh my God, I ask you on behalf of these people who are frustrated.
12:24It seems like nothing is working out, Father, in the life of this man and this woman.
12:29It feels like struggle after struggle.
12:32This person cannot see a way out.
12:34But Jesus, I reach out my hands now and by faith I ask you, have mercy, my Father, on this
12:40person.
12:41Do not let them give up, do not let them turn back, but may they walk in your ways day
12:47after day.
12:47Oh my God and my Father, I ask you, strengthen the weary, bring joy, Lord, to this heart that is
12:55so bitter, so sad, and so burdened by struggles.
12:58Oh Lord, just as David said that were it not for the struggles he went through, he would not be
13:05obedient, he would not walk in your ways.
13:09Lord, many of us are also in the desert, going through great affliction, but we believe that in these struggles
13:15you are fighting for us.
13:17We believe that all things work together for good to those who love you, and we believe, my Father, that
13:24victory is near.
13:26Soon we will sing the victory song and people will recognize that you are with us, that you are in
13:33control of our lives, and that everything has worked together for our good.
13:38Oh my God, I pray for healing right now.
13:41People who are sick, in need of a miracle, who have already received a medical diagnosis, and it wasn't good
13:48at all.
13:49I cancel all sickness, I rebuke every evil against this person right now, every bad diagnosis.
13:58Lord, turn this diagnosis around.
14:00Heal this person, Father, from head to the soles of their feet.
14:04May this person feel your fire right now.
14:07May they feel fire burning in their heart, a wonderful presence.
14:10Oh my God, in the name of Jesus, I rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every demon that has taken up
14:18residence, causing sickness, causing infirmity, causing a lack of peace, an oppression.
14:25Be rebuked in the name of Jesus.
14:29Lord, my God, I ask you, heal and deliver your children right now.
14:34Deliver them, Lord Jesus, from all hurt, from all oppression, from all unforgiveness.
14:40Help this person forgive those who have hurt them, who have wronged them.
14:46In Jesus' name, I ask you, my Father, put love, Father, a desire to pray even for our enemies.
14:53May we not be defiled by evil, but may the Lord deliver us, Father.
14:59Deliverance from all the evil that people have wished against us.
15:03Grant deliverance, Father, in our finances as well.
15:06Help this person break free from debt.
15:09So many people right now, Father, are grieving because they can't find a way out, an open door.
15:16But I ask you, Lord Jesus, open the doors wide.
15:19Come change this person's situation once and for all.
15:23May this person leave their comfort zone and may they have new strategies, renewed motivation to do whatever it takes.
15:33O Lord Jesus, I ask you, Lord, perform a miracle so that this person may testify here on my channel,
15:41saying that the Lord did great things starting today, starting with this prayer.
15:47Father, we see you this moment, believing in you and thanking you,
15:52just as the Lord Jesus said that if we ask for something and believe that we have already received it,
15:58it will be done for us.
15:59That is why I already thank you, my Father, for this prayer, for the outcome,
16:05for all the doors you have opened here today and for the healing that so many people need.
16:11In Jesus' name I pray and I already thank you.
16:14Amen.
16:15Glory to God.
16:17Hallelujah.
16:29Amen.
16:30Amen.
16:32Amen.
16:36Amen.
16:38Amen.
