00:15The DKU said four signatories to the statement did not hold the officers they purported to represent when the statement
00:22was issued on September 5.
00:24It said their attempt to remove Yang Di-Pertuan Besar Tuangku Muris Tuangku Munawir without complying with the provisions of
00:30Article 10 subsection 1 of the state constitution could amount to treason.
00:35The council said the report was made to pave the way for criminal investigations to commence.
00:41The DKU also rejected calls for a proposed peace committee stressing that Article 16 of the state constitution entrusts it
00:50with sole authority over all adat matters.
00:54The state executive council had on September 8th discussed establishing the committee to address the adat dispute through the spirit

01:03Previously, Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim's state government pledged full loyalty to Tuangku Muris.
