00:00Joe, let's start off with the biggest story of week one, which is very rare situation in the
00:04National Football League. And, you know, I feel like I'm a, as we would say, prisoner of the
00:08moment here. But man, it's just hard to believe that a team could go through an entire offseason
00:13and not have their quarterback situation settled in week one of the NFL season. That's the biggest
00:18line movement of the week with the Atlanta Falcons ruling out Tua Tungavailoa, who they signed
00:23in the offseason to a one-year deal. A lot of speculation about Tua here. Will he even play a
00:29game this season with this injury that he has, which doesn't appear to be serious, but a lot of
00:33the Falcons writers are sort of asking the question, is this it for Tua without even playing
00:38a game? Had a lot of injury issues in the past. We've seen this line jump from about four to
00:43six
00:43because Cooper Rush is going to start at quarterback for the Falcons. And by the way, Cooper Rush
00:49has done a decent job previously as a backup at different spots. He may not be 100% going into
00:55this game too, Joe. But naturally, the Steelers are now one of the bigger favorites on the board
01:00heading into Sunday afternoon. Can't believe that this is happening so early in the NFL season.
01:06Well, I think Falcon fans can believe it because it's been a rough go for them the last couple
01:10years. Look, Tua has got an oblique injury. That is a terrible injury for a quarterback. It's very
01:14hard to throw the ball in pads with an oblique issue. So, and typically, you know, you know this
01:18as a baseball guy, when you have those oblique issues, they linger. So it could be a few weeks for
01:23him.
01:23Cooper Rush is somebody that is serviceable. As you said, we've seen him play with the Cowboys
01:27before and have some mixed results over time, but a serviceable backup quarterback in the league.
01:31The problem is his health as well. So in terms of impact, I don't think it impacts B. John Robinson
01:36all that much, but you might want to look at the under on Drake London, 54 and a half receiving
01:40yards.
01:41That's minus 113 in most spots there because it might be difficult to facilitate some of those
01:45deeper throws there. You might get more Kyle Pitts, more B. John Robinson in this game. But, you know,
01:49for a guy with back spasm issues and Cooper Rush, I think Drake London is the guy that becomes
01:53a little bit difficult here. If something happens to Cooper Rush, we're going to Jack Strand, who
01:57did play well in the preseason. But once again, that's preseason where you're playing against
02:02the backup guy. So the Falcons, not the start they wanted to. They want to start Michael Penix as soon
02:07as he's healthy. The question is when that is, and it doesn't look like it's going to be in the
02:11next
02:11week or two.
02:12Yeah, there are some reports that say that they're going to test Penix out next week to
02:16see if he can be maybe the backup quarterback going into the game. But as Joe mentioned,
02:20Jack Strand from Montana State elevated to backup quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. By the way,
02:26that total also shot down to 40 and a half, not the lowest total on the board. By the way,
02:30of course, the New York Jets are going to have some say in who scores the least amount of points
02:34in
02:34the NFL this week.
02:34So you start with that.
02:35To go ahead and describe it.
02:35that thing is not going to movie in theinet kamu.
02:35So that's what happens when you're trying to make it happen.
