00:00the first game that we will discuss Buccaneers Bengals to start the season feels like it's the
00:05same season for the Bengals meaning that will they get off to this oh and three start and have
00:10us already looking toward next year because that has been the narrative and it's been more than a
00:15narrative it's been factual this team can't get out of their own way in the month of September
00:19and then they come on strong at the end and we say next year is the season for the Cincinnati
00:24Bengals at the same time the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year Joe they opened up the season looking
00:28like Super Bowl contenders Baker Mayfield was the favorite to win the NFL's MVP in September and
00:33into October and Emeka Ibuka looked like the rookie of the year and then things went south for them so
00:38I think question marks for both sides today as you see the Bengals are slight favorites today three
00:44and a half four in some spots some points are expected in this game today but the question
00:49surrounding Cincinnati is a fair one to ask is this the season the Bengals get off to a good start
00:59well last year they did actually start off pretty well and then everything went to crap once Joe Burrell
01:05got hurt but the good news is if you like the Buccaneers Baker Mayfield as an underdog is always the
01:11way to go
01:12with that plus three and a half you're getting to keep this close yeah it's funny because they did hand
01:16them out the extension which I thought was the smart thing to do because it's hard to find a franchise
01:20quarterback and clearly Baker Mayfield as you pointed out last year the first six weeks of the season looked like
01:25the NFL MVP so those guys don't grow on trees.
01:28Of course extend them but Baker Mayfield playing with a chip on the shoulder was something to prove
01:32certainly felt like the way to go through a season at least beforehand but now they've already paid
01:37them now they've gone through it this is one of the few games where I actually do like the over
01:40here because you have
01:41so many playmakers in this I am under city this week for week one I have seen these teams not
01:47play enough
01:47starters in preseason the lackluster football the lack of timing everything has been absolutely abysmal here to start
01:54these are one of the two teams though that I do think because of the quarterback play is so elevated
01:59the continuity you have in these rosters coming back year over year with the same players too for
02:03the most part I think it does portend a little bit more towards the over in this one so I'm
02:08in the over
02:08again under city be careful week one is a liar let's not go crazy with a lot of things you've
02:13got
02:14some weather and some issues and some games too but this one in particular I am absolutely looking for
02:18the over of the 50 and a half I was going to go under on Baker Mayfield's passing at 232
02:23and a half
02:23I think it's a little bit of a high number I'm going to score a touchdown is at plus 190
02:27I think
02:27that's in play as well yes he's been limited with that toe injury but we all saw when he was
02:32on the
02:33field and healthy the first six weeks of the season he was a touchdown machine with Baker Mayfield
02:36and with Mike Evans gone you've got to get back to that if you're Baker Mayfield in the Bucks
02:42Mike Evans we saw play at a pretty high level for the San Francisco 49ers earlier in the week
02:47that'll be a big point of emphasis who will replace Evans in Tampa Bay who inevitably when
02:51he goes into the Pro Football Hall of Fame it'll be as a Buccaneer
