00:00Let's get started with the Packers and Buccaneers. Boy, there really is no fun for either of these
00:06two squads, Joe, at the start of the season. The Packers have looked like a shell of themselves
00:10on offense, and it will be a shell for the Buccaneers, who are having to start backup
00:15quarterback Jalen Daniels in this season of the injured quarterbacks. Baker Mayfield probably
00:22going to miss a month. Maybe it will be longer. We'll check in with Dr. Chow on that one.
00:28Daniels played for many years at a very high level, Joe, by the way, at the University of
00:31Kansas. Won a lot of big games there, too. But naturally, this is a different scenario for him.
00:37And boy, I mean, there's really no must-win games in week four, but the Packers have got to
00:42beat the Buccaneers, Joe, I would think, in this one. But backup quarterbacks for me are stay-away
00:47games. I have no idea what to expect. And by the way, if I'm not mistaken, I think that quarterbacks
00:53who did not start the first week of the season and then came in as backups in the NFL, I
01:00think
01:01I saw a stat there's 7-0 in the NFL, which is crazy to me. So maybe today is 8
01:07-0 for Daniels.
01:09I mean, it wouldn't shock me. I think the Packers are objectively a bad team. I've been talking
01:13about it for a while. Their differential is not good over the last eight games they played
01:18going back to last year. They should win this game. You say it's not a must-win game. I beg
01:24to
01:24differ. This is a game you need to win, because if you're looking at the rest of this division,
01:28Lions have scuffled a little bit. You've had a Caleb Williams injury to the Bears, and yet they
01:32still keep winning football games. And Minnesota Vikings just keep winning games in their division,
01:37right? So, I mean, you have to keep pace right now. And I think the difficult thing for them is
01:43once
01:43that run game kind of fell apart and it has for them, they haven't been the same.
01:46On the Bucs side, too, you know, I had real concerns about the Buccaneers going into this
01:49year when you lose the kind of leadership you had in that locker room with Mike Evans
01:54and Levante David and those guys. Like, just in the same year to lose the leader on offense
01:58and defense is a lot. And I think it's showing up. What's interesting here in Jalen Daniels
02:02is the fact that you touched on it. He has played a lot in college, so he's an experienced
02:06quarterback. He's got a lot of reps under his belt. I would also look at Ted Hurst very carefully
02:11in this game. We see a lot with these backup quarterbacks when they come into these games.
02:15They favor the receivers that they've been working with a lot. And Ted Hurst has been
02:19working some with the ones, but also a lot with the twos. And Ted Hurst has a lot of
02:23talent. It would not shock me if he scored a touchdown in this game. It would not shock
02:26me if the Buccaneers somehow found a way to win this game with how bad the Packers have
02:31looked all year. So, for me, I'm with you. This is more of a stay-away game for me. The
02:36one thing I do like, the things I can control, I'd be surprised if Christian Watson didn't get
02:40in the end zone, and that's plus 155. That's a pretty good number for him to find Pater
02:44today.
02:46Hackers just haven't been able to run the ball at all. That's always been their calling
02:49card there. And actually, with Jacobs out, the running backs that they've had there
02:52haven't fared well. And you would think that today they should just run the ball and try
02:56to come out with a close win, but not always the way it works out in the NFL.
